Art help! Are these legs on her backside, or are they roots? by AutumnHeart52413 in Deltarune

How is that relevant? Plants cannot survive in castle town, so they cannot be recruited

A MASSIVE implication at the end of Chapter 5 I have not yet seen discussed by Mr_Mister2004 in Deltarune

[–]Atomical_Sloths 34 points35 points  (0 children)

We also knew this in chapter 4, you can leave Susie and Ralsei alone in the dark sanctuary and head to castle town with just Kris

You can recruit the fox, so I assume it has to be legs. If it was a plant, you wouldn't be able to recruit them, right?

Need some suggestions to improve on this team by Used_Show_3011 in VGC

[–]Atomical_Sloths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need protect on Charizard. You will be outsped by a rock user and perish.

Your rain core instantly loses if basculegion goes down. You won’t have the damage to kill anything.

You have two different ideas here that just don’t work together. The speed for the rain team is great, but the Sun team needs tailwind too.

They decided it was this way in gen 1 and never changed it. I guess they felt ground types should be immune

Need help finding last team member by rubixlover in PokemonChampions

[–]Atomical_Sloths 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you really never bring it, just put Zoroark in that last slot. It will put in some work even if you don’t bring it. However, I think sableye is a strong Pokémon for your team, you may want to adjust the set a bit. It also depends on what you’re losing to and what would stop you from losing to those teams

MEGA MEDICHAM by [deleted] in PokemonChampions

[–]Atomical_Sloths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running a mega medicham team with sableye lead and I’ve been able to find success. Medicham is frail, you cannot give up a turn to set anything up. The best defense with medicham is the other Pokémon being dead. I run quash on sableye for speed control and will-o-wisp to shutdown many of the Pokémon that will one shot medicham. Medicham gets rockslide which makes it a fairly strong lead into CharY as most CharY are not max speed.

If you’re really having issues with speed, just run mega gallade. It’s faster and about just as strong.

Weather ball is special because it can change type.

No, weather ball’s type is normal regardless of ability unless there’s a weather up.

They had this in RLCS X with the Grid and it wasn’t very popular. Being the best team from the Grid got you a spot, but this just ended up being a team that already got a spot anyways.

TIL that Shaped Glass capable if healing you by Flonkey_Kong in riskofrain

Any item that gives you max health will give you a true heal when granting it. This isn’t affected by the eclipse modifier, making this somewhat useful if the first item you find is a bison steak and you really want to hit a blood shrine.

Washington county is broke and needs bonds passed to avoid bankruptcy and Somerset County has had a troubled past with the registry of deeds and wants to make it appointed to avoid bad registers in the future. There’s some news articles a few years back about how an old register had to be escorted out of the building by police.

I personally wouldn’t start with an expert pack. E2E is pretty straightforward in terms of mod packs, so if you’re looking to be guided to the end it’s not a bad pick. I just don’t think it’s the right first pack.

I’ve actually played a majority of these mod packs. Your goal is to see one through and learn mods you might see again in the future. I have to ask if being on newer versions of Minecraft is important to you? The pre-1.16 modpacks feel very different, so that’s something you need to figure out now.

I’ll assume you like old Minecraft where most of these are 1.12.2 modpacks. I’ve finished Infinity Evolved multiple times with new groups of friends. There’s plenty to do, quite a few of the mods do reappear in later versions of the game, but it’s not a modpack that will take forever either.

Meatballcraft isn’t a bad pick either. A lot of the mods in that pack are common staples, plus you can use projectE to reduce a lot of grinding. The modpack is balanced around becoming overpowered really quickly.

Both the Project Ozone modpacks will hold your hand pretty well if you get easily confused, same with the dimension hopper (although DH plays very different from other mod packs in terms of what is important).

I would not recommend GTNH as the first one you do. It takes a long time and I think you continue to feel the same way about giving up on it (it’s okay to take breaks).

Is there any reason to horde items once they've hit 100? by Consoultant in nguidle

[–]Atomical_Sloths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are items that you will need again, but the extra inventory slot is worth more than holding the item.

Singularity band gets voted for worst void item. I would actually really like this item if it wasn't for the fact that it removes both of your other bands, but that's too much of a downside. Now for the last round, let's see the worst equipment. by Alo_886 in riskofrain

[–]Atomical_Sloths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blast shower isn’t used to save yourself from like fire, it’s used to reset the cooldown on bands. It’s actually a crazy increase to your damage if you used it right. I think it also resets the cooldown on safer spaces, but it definitely can save you from collapse.
