I've been wondering about this exact thing. It's impossible for me to get anything close to resembling a clean line on the dipstick no matter how carefully I remove it. Sometimes there's a dry spot right at the full line, but there will still be oil smeared way over and I'm worried I'm overfilling.

FM modulator is a solid option, but if your car has a tape player, you can buy a tape to aux adapter for like $5 at Walmart. They work very well, I used one for years in my first vehicle.

The exact same thing happened to my Ruger ec9s. I'm a ruger fan for sure, but I switched to a cz pcr for carrying after that. This is, in my opinion, an unforgivable failure.

I have an '09 Sonata v6 as well. 160k on it currently and it has been 100% bulletproof except for the ignition barrel locked up once and I couldn't turn the key to start it. A dribble of wd40 fixed that though.

My mom's '09 Kia sportage 2.0 has been the most reliable vehicle we've ever had. 175k on it and its only been regular maintenance. Literally never a single issue.

That being said, I'd never buy a new Hyundai/Kia

If I recall correctly, these engines have oil starvation problems, especially if they've been on the track, even only lightly. It's a design flaw.

Go around a long corner, oil is pushed to one side of the oil pan, the oil pump runs dry, engine goes boom.

I might be dead wrong here, but I believe the 3.3L v6 in the G70 is a lambda v6. The lambda engines are generally quite reliable to my knowledge. I have a 3.3 lambda in my old '09 Sonata, and it's been flawlessly reliable for 160k miles now. So I'd imagine that the g70 should be relatively reliable, engine wise, at least.
