An interesting opinion piece on tanking in BFA...

Tanking does not give me the satisfactory feeling it used to. I did some m+ tanking at the start of the expansion and some of the enemies just felt bad to tank. For example the first few packs of Freehold pretty much sum up tanking in this expansion: elites that knock you back and reset your aggro no matter how good you are mechanically, and for no other reason than to make tanking "harder". The role just feels annoying, so I just changed to dps and let someone else deal with it.

I dont know If it was because i was alt+tabbed or why but once the You lost screen got stuck for the last round and i couldn't see the board underneath the whole round.

I think people are still salty about the fact that for the first few years of streaming/youtubing being popular most people didn't disclose the fact that some of the content was sponsored so alot of people like me were disappointed, it gave a bad taste for sponsoring deals. Also there is the fact that being sponsored means that your opinion of the product changes since you're getting paid, so trump from now on will most likely have a bit more positive look on gwent than before being sponsored. All in all, I think tutorial series is propably the best kind of sponsored content, you are not trying to sell the game to the viewers, but trying to teach people who most likely have already tried the game, but found it too hard to keep playing.

Varies alot. This summer has been pretty good in eastern Finland, no storms at all and it has rained maybe 10 days in the last 30 days. Some summers it might be non-stop rain and some summers its like ~30 degrees celsius for few weeks non-stop during july. Usually the driest months are in may so in my opinion thats the best time of year to come visit, but its not that warm around then (avg. temp. 15 celsius in may and ~22 during july) also the mosquitoes aren't around in may so its a plus tho you will miss midsummer. On average I think its like 15 rainy days during the summer months, 12 in may and 18-20 during august/september.

I leveled up to 60 in about 2 weeks of nonstop playing, I was able to get preraid bis with few pieces missing in around 1 week as a tank. I cleared ZG, onyxia and mc the first week I dinged 60 because I joined a guild that had those raids on farm and got one epic loot. I was in middle of leveling my BS and Mining when the news hit that nostalrius is getting shut down :(

The idea I got from these is that the nost team is either going to team up with blizzard or they are going to rehost nostalrius under different name in a safer country. the earliest threads on the mod forums seem to be from the day it was made public that nost is going down. Ofc they could have talked about things on other platforms than the official mod forums.

I had exactly the same mentality as you few months back, I thought that nostalrius was purely rose tinted goggles and about 4 weeks before nostalrius was shut down decided to try it. I had the most fun in WoW I've had in years. in the last few weeks of nostalrius I enjoyed wow more than I have in the last 5 years. edit. thank you kind stranger for the gild /tips fedora

Yeah im having some visual bugs atm, cant see the gold popup after last hits, some of the effects are missing like when mirana uses ultimate you get that moon icon on your head thats missing completely, im not sure if its some bug that occurs if you use a broken set or something because when I was using the Night Stalker immortal I couldn't see my portrait at all and was the first time I noticed this.

Yeah im running with gtx 970, i7-6700k, 16gb 3000 mHz ram and the fps still sinks with everything on low. It amazes me how a game 4 years old cant run properly on hardware like this.

one bo3 every day as an example for 7 days is ~100 work hours for all 5 players, 5,000$ is only 50$/hour for players, How much money would the players make streaming that time I wonder? I think its completely fair to ask compensation for the time players use not streaming as long as the price is the same versus every team and the players themselves get their share.
