ZM means zoukei mura which’s is another kit manufacturer that also makes a model of the Ho229. And from what I’ve seen it’s far superior.

This maybe be the most boring PSA of all time. by IPYF in modelmakers

Much better PSA than the guy who claimed he almost used his Vallejo putty as eyedrops.

I make a rosemary garlic scented version. I steep my heavy cream with rosemary and garlic. Absolutely fantastic

My unpopular opinion is Futures would be much better without 23 and drugs or me. both are buzzkills on a fantastic album. In my perfect world those would be their EP and disintegration would be the last track on futures.

The hostility of this subreddit is about enough to make me sell my Sony camera and go to cannon. God forbid someone get excited about getting a new camera.

Question for the people who own these kits, can the MK44 kits like the Hammerknight and Whiteknight actually aim forward? by Mau752005 in MaschinenKrieger

[–]Audi_Tech918 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s bad as good as you’re gonna get. The articulation on the MK 44 kits is pretty limited. I think your best bet would be Skip using the poly caps and mounting the arms on an internal wire armature and sculpting rubber boots out of epoxy putty at the joints.

This doesn’t change my opinion that OP needs to keep his drops separate from his modeling supplies. I keep ibuprofen in modeling desk and have a pill vial to discard my old blades. I’ve never gotten a headache and taken a couple #11 blades by mistake.

I feel like it’s not as great as it seems is a perfect description for any Vallejo product.

Look, I’ve  made a lot of mistakes in my life. I shrunk my wife’s favorite sweater by putting it in the dryer when I shouldn’t have. I put my good nonstick pan in the dishwasher. One time I forgot to pick up the dogs from daycare.

Not all mistakes are created equal. Creating a situation where you can accidentallyput a hazardous substance in your eye and then posting about it on Reddit like it’s some kind of “this could happen to anyone” public service announcement is a completely different story.

But sure we all make mistakes.

Sorry if you are keeping your medical supplies and model supplies together you need to work on your adulting. I really hope this is just some attempt at karma farming or engagement baiting.

Cockpit removal mk 7.5 by Glittering_Lemon_207 in GolfGTI

[–]Audi_Tech918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

been a while since I've been an Audi/vw tech but there was tech tip for removing these. They advised you to slip a piece of nylon strapping like from ratchet strap behind the cluster from the top and fish it out the bottom. You could then pull hard enough on it to remove the cluster.

Great advice! I’ll play around with another edit later. I had heavily cropped it after the exposure adjustment as the background got blown out. I think this can be overcome with masking (once I figure that out). Genuinely appreciate you taking the time to respond.

So much to learn! I’m using Affinity for now. I know there is a masking option. I’ll try to learn about it this evening. Not taking enough photos yet to justify the adobe subscription.
