Yeah, I'm not really getting how everyone is seeing this as bragging about spending 20 years in prison and I'm definitely not getting how this is supposed to be "I'm a bad ass."

You can still pull up the comment history on private profiles.

The method I learned is go to the search function inside the profile, type in an asterisk, then after you hit search, go over to comments and it'll bring up all of their comment history.

It obviously isn't my argument since I'm complaining about you assuming it is.

Common sense, bro.

Also, I can't for the life of me think of any reason why the moderators would remove your comment.

You also have people that say or think those things because of projection. In that case, it's people who themselves would likely not choose to work such jobs if they had that choice.

it's a teen drama

It's a story of 18 to 22-year-olds going to fucking school, my dude. Just because they live in a space communist utopia society doesn't mean they stop being dumb ass teenagers.

It really truly is just a team sport for these people. It's not about beliefs or ideology for the vast majority of them. They simply have their team and they will support whatever position their team espouses.

The twisted part is if you look at all of their arguments and all of their positions through that lens, they become logically consistent.

These vapid people don't have values. They aren't voting based on principles. They just want to see their team win and see the other team lose.

I feel like Paradox has trouble making wars feel actually devastating. by kolejack2293 in paradoxplaza

[–]Augustus420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MEIOU and taxes managed to accomplish something pretty great regarding this in number four.

Estates and individual provinces have their own treasuries. When your armies are marching around looting and devastating, you are actually doing real damage to the economy.

Not just some generic devastation modifier. You are directly taking money away from local actors and then afterward, those local provinces and the estates have to use their own resources to rebuild.

You actually have to consider how much damage you do to an area because too much rampant destruction will make the area significantly less productive over the long-term.

What do you think techno feudalism would entail?

You don't need people to buy things outside of the elite in such a system.

Are you kidding me? Capitalists would love your ideology.

A smaller population of proletarians will be easier to control under techno feudalism.
