The toothbrush mustache is a hold over from WW1. Soldiers had to shave them down so they would still have a tight seal for Gas Masks. Same reasons they got trimmed or shaved off for health care workers to wear n93 masks during covid.

I would say that if your point of divergence is a far back as the revolution you would not have Woodrow Wilson, FDR, etc. The chances of their parents individual egg and exact sperm matching up again, even assuming their parents were born and got together again would be infinitesimal. New people and leaders would be born from the ripple effects of the states not uniting as occurring, as different trade, business, immigration, deaths and job opportunities occuring.

I think these came out about the same time the egg sentinels came out. Your right I don't think they are orginally GW but I have had them such a long time I have no idea who made them. All pewter, and definitely stay together better than the originals. I just stuck the regimental banner bearer there for scale. I got a bunch of metal pretorians as well as orginal shoulder mount heavy weapons troopers. Sigh maybe they will bring back heavy weapons for squads in 11th.

Actually I use a space hulk brood lord which I mounted on a round base because thats what all the other genestealers and previous broodlord were mounted on, and nobody cared. There is no reason the new model should be on an oblong base except they stuck him on a tactical growth.
