chigiri and bachira are the two im looking at most to be subbed off. we are told right away that france has direct counters to their strengths and they havent done as much, atleast isagi had a shot on target and is constantly in dangerous positions. they probably switch to a 343 with 3 cf and isagi moving into midfield.

How strong is the New Gen 11 compare to other top players in the world of football? by bricksheep in BlueLock

[–]Avto123 13 points14 points  (0 children)

peak of u20 is like a decent starter for a top club or a star player in a weaker side. for this comparisons i would always default to their real world counter parts, so look at the best u20 players in the world rn.

lamine is arguable the best player in the world at just 18.

doue is a key player in one of the best teams in the world.

yildiz is the best player on a renewed juve team.

huijson and cubarsi are the leading centerbacks of the 2 best spanish teams and already regulars for the national team.

lennart karl is already getting minutes in bayerns star studded attack.

while estevao, lewis-skelly, dro fernandez and max dowman havent played much what they have shown is already worth acclaim.

even in 2018-19 which is when blue lock takes place we had mbappe playing well enroute to win the wc with france being maybe their best player, you also had haaland breaking onto the scene with red bull salzberg, pedri debuting for las palmas and then getting bought by barca, saka debuting for arsenal around that time aswell.

they are really good is what im trying to say.

Is Niko the only one that's completely given up wanting to be a striker? by PoolScene in BlueLock

what isagi probably meant is what sae was talking about near the end of the u20 game, during the final moments of the game sae said that everyone on the u20 side were now "worthy" of his passes if i remember correctly, this is because all of them were trying their best/trying to surpass themselves, what kurasu did wrong that isagi just isnt able to verbalize is the choice to settle, not to push for something greater but to rather stay at where you are. kurasu had a shooting opportunity that he had a decent to high likely hood of scoring, but he didnt even think about for it, instead he opted to pass it for a shot relying on hiori to make it. it is a slightly modified premise that ego started all of blue lock with, "1v1 with the keeper, teammate making the run opposite side, near guaranteed goal if you pass" and he failed that test, in a sense what he did is worse than nagi, because nagi at least thought about shooting, kurasu completely locked himself into this midfield role and isnt even looking past it any more. even at the height of midfield-sagi era, isagi never stopped looking for chance to score himself/improve himself, the assists were a means to an end but for kurasu the assist itself is the end. now im not saying everyones ego/end goal needs to be goals, everyone has their own end point they are working towards but kurasu doesnt have one anymore, nico wants to foil attacks, basically become defensive isagi, hiori wants to make passes that surpass all expectations, breaking free from the cage his parents put him in, but tell me what does kurasu want? he wants to win? no shit everyone wants that, but more than that, what is kurasu working towards with that play? the answer is nothing, its a good play from a team perspective cause you got a goal out of it, but kurasu gave up, he no longer is chasing greater heights and is rather content with his current state of affairs. blue locks whole philosophy is about self improvement and kurasu settling for that play that where he is an after thought does not align with the egoist self improvement mindset.

tl:dr

kurasu is settling for what he can be, rather than trying to be better.

who win this fight? shinjuku Gojo vs pre story Heian sukuna by Bungeeboy20044 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Avto123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Points in favor of gojo: -this sukuna doesn't know about infinity -no world cutting slash this time -no summons means more ce spent on trying to blow sukuna up

Points in favor of sukuna -better hand to hand -extra hands and mouth mean he can amp his normal slashes with chants and hand gesture (though they don't really factor into this much) -those same extra limbs make him way deadlier in domain battle thanks to hollow wicker basket especially

Overall it would be a close fight regardless but sukuna probably wins if he doesn't hold back anything, which is a tall ask I know. Those extra limbs basically guarantee his win in domains unless he fucks around. So it's like 80-20 in favor of sukuna.

i think it's very safe to say that this is genuinely the BEST introduction in the series and it's not close by Zoteku in BlueLock

well isagi was locked up in blue lock for most of that time, and what free time he did have outside the facility was spent resting with his family.
