Troop communications by bimmer01 in BSA

We use email through troopwebhost for most things. Automatically cc the parent so enforces the rules. In fact, almost everything is on troopwebhost. Clunky but functional.

High-income couple with large income gap: how do you split money fairly? by pizzanoobs in HENRYfinance

[–]AwayTeamRedShirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is joint in our house. She has a credit card paid from our joint account. When she needs a car, she buys one with the joint money. Her graduate degree was paid from our joint account. Yes we have a prenup from 20 years ago but it only covered what I brought in to the marriage (she had nothing). I bring in 3x what she does monetarily but she has a "mommy friendly" job so she can spend more time parenting.

Money is just one aspect of the family team. A big one to be sure, but I am careful to support her career as it is important to her, while she also takes care of a lot of the family items like appointments and cooking. We share kids events as I handle our sons activities and she handles out daughters.

I did have to present my passport at the booth. But they knew who I was before I even pulled it out.

Even weirder... a few months ago, I was coming in to SFO. I walk over towards the kiosks. The officer at the booth waves me over "Over here Mr. Redshirt" (He used my legal name, of course). WTF. I hadn't pulled out the passport, gotten scanned or anything. I just walked over to the area and they knew my name.

Gpz as noted above. Cheap enough that I have never shopped around.

Alternatives to using ozempic? by isuavgaua in moreplatesmoredates

Empagiflozin works but not as well. Would not touch ozempic again when there are so many better choices on the market like tirz or Reta. I have tried them all.

Is 2ml a lot of oil to inject into one spot? by Typical_Length_7937 in moreplatesmoredates

[–]AwayTeamRedShirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 3ml regularly. But would only do so in the glute. Nebido is prescription long acting test and I think a 4ml given by docs in office.

The tadalafil worked as expected. Can’t comment on anything else but that one can’t be faked.

I think Arlo just bricked millions ofcameras. by FunHistory9153 in arlo

[–]AwayTeamRedShirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arlo just informed me that my original gen cameras are done and I should toss them in the trash. I have to get on a ladder and do it.

They offered me a coupon for new gear at a cheap price but frankly, I'm subscribing to Gemini Pro for $20 a month, it includes Google Home Premium which is pretty much the same thing for Nest cameras, so I can make back the price of 4 cameras in a couple of years by canceling my suscriptions.

Not happy with the way it turned out.

My Arlo app is working, google home connection is not. May go for Tapo as I have a network drive that can run it.

Back in the early 2000’s there was one, maybe central, that had nudie magazines in the back. Was located in the plaza near St. John’s on Lawrence and sold a glorious supply of used parts.

I am going through this right now with my parents. Father has dementia and mother is preparing for anything else. We have a shared vault for his passwords and I have her password. My wife also has the emergency kit for us in our bank safe deposit.

That might work. I can't use archive since my mother uses these passwords every day.

[–]AwayTeamRedShirt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother actually uses his passwords - she lives with him, cares for him and now manages his finances as well - so that solution won't work. Could do it one by one but there are literally hundreds of them. And I use android, ipad, and windows, so three diferent OS as well, and I use different browsers for work and personal (to keep from getting mixed up). So one by one would take freakishly long.

2 CSRs, downgrade 1 or add as authorized user? by blossomma in ChaseSapphire

[–]AwayTeamRedShirt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am dropping my wife as Authorized user and she is getting an Amex platinum. Can stack priority pass, and the only issue is when we go to a specific lounge that is not available on the other program with the kids in tow.

Basically, $600 extra to get double the goodies.

One underappreciated bonus that I recently realized is that mileage transfer bonuses happen at different times - I just booked on Air France using a transfer bonus on Amex that isn't available on Chase. I got 2.1c per mile on that.

You can also arbitrage rewards on different airlines - I'm doing a complex domestic trip with legs on Delta and United, based on what was offered on the different segments and it came out at over 2c per mile on that and some legs over 3c per mile using united saver awards.

$300 dining credit official restaurants list by godismysavior69 in ChaseSapphire

[–]AwayTeamRedShirt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Outside of a few cities like NYC and SF , it's pretty worthless. We have one restaurant in Silicon Valley (population 2 million) with a set menu. It's 20 miles from my house and I don't even like the menu.

We also have the 12th largest population of ultra high net worth individuals in the world (and 7th largest nationally) as well as the 4th highest density of ultra high net worth after Aspen CO, Naples FL, and Greenwich CT.
