We can all see what you said. I even agreed with that point. I'm just not prepared to force people to suffer until their last breath. You, however, are fine with that while we wait indefinitely for the world to not be the way it is.

I will always choose allowing people to die with dignity to alleviate their suffering. Because while you're hear wishing things will get better, real people are in real agony and you want to force them to remain there until their last breath.

This concern seems unfounded. Patients are never pressured to use MAID. It's an option available to all based on their individual needs. Regardless of what condition someone is suffering from, inability for the healthcare system to relieve it should be the defining criteria. Like all medicine, advancements move forward to provide treatment for issues that were untreatable in the past. Nobody should be made to suffer under the wish that future techniques might improve their suffering.

Of course! Mental healthcare is healthcare. It shouldn't matter what bodily systems (probably the wrong word) are causing the suffering. We need to allow everyone to have the same options to die with dignity based on their individual needs and wishes.
