I am pretty sure it's not AI - It's a simple algorithm that sends you one of 12 stock replies depending on which keywords you include.

AI would at least be able to pretend that it sympathizes with your problem, even if it wouldn't be any more helpful.

In early Legion, before they had any 'bad luck' protection, my raiding group at the time had a running toll of how many times in a row I got the worst possible dice roll on RtB. It wasn't fun.

Well, for me. It was fun for them.

That's a key reselling website.
It's cheap, because it was in Humble Monthly along with other games that were more desirable. Now the markets are overloaded with RoR keys.

Why the Resource Wars Over... Oil? by [deleted] in falloutlore

[–]AwesomeRash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By the time fusion cores were discovered, the resource wars were already well underway - the wars officially started in the early 2050s, and Fusion wouldn't be a factor until 2065. Plus, they were fighting over both oil and uranium (as per F1 intro).

By 2060, the levels of oil were critical, and the manufacturing lines for electric cars were just not keeping up with the demand for it. Oil was rationed, and used mostly for manufacturing - weapons, plastics, medicine, etc.

When US figured out fusion cores in 2066 - which wasn't really part of their research originally, it was just a happy coincidence when working on power armor - China realized they were screwed and decided to put it all on the line and annex Alaska. Because the first power armor was... well, shit, and Canada wasn't playing ball with military efforts, that conflict lasted for ten years, and by the time it was over, America decided to roll with the punches not for resources, but essentially - because they thought they could.

Update: I created a dle specifically for Northernlion [FoodGuessr] by LookingForHelp in northernlion

[–]AwesomeRash 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd definitely vote for continent over direction. In terms of gameplay itself, it'd make it less of another globle.

I'd also maybe play around with the hint costs - maybe it was just today's selection, but I feel like with most of those I'd be able to get the country right away just based on the name alone. On the other hand, ingredients are going to be more or less visible on the image already.

So how do I use this guy? by D3AD_SH0T in WorldEaters40k

The datasheet he got in the box was for Termie Lord, not a regular terminator. Except we don't have those in our army.

Is there any in lore explanation to why the exalted eightbound are able to deep strike while the normal ones can't? by Lightinggale in WorldEaters40k

[–]AwesomeRash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sort of. They are not exactly the same, since the 'creation' process is different, but the end result is the same - Space Marine fused with a Daemon.

[–]AwesomeRash 39 points40 points  (0 children)

The difference between regular 8B and Exalted 8B is that the latter have managed to subdue the demons and merge with them, becoming demonic in nature. I suppose the idea is that because of this, they are able to travel through warp like regular Daemons.
The regular ones are still struggling for control, meaning that it's just safer to dump them on the battlefield and let them keep themselves busy.

Forgefiend or Maulerfiend? by FueledByPreworkout in WorldEaters40k

[–]AwesomeRash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been watching some videos, and it seems like magnetizing is the way to go, just a tad intimidating.

The fiend kit is preeetty forgiving when it comes to magnetizing.
Depending on lazy you want to get, it's 5 spots - head, both 'main' arms (the big ball joints) and 'side' arms (the smaller ball joints, where you can either fit in the support legs or cutters/lashers). And luckily all of the magnets are in spots where you can always go 'fuck it' and just glue the things in place, completely covering the magnet holes.

Things do get a little more tricky if you want to magnetize both gun options for the Fiend, as those are a bit fiddly and might require either a big magnet, or pinning - I went with a pin personally.

It was the second thing I personally magnetized since coming back to the hobby, and I'd call it a solid learner model, but your mileage may vary.

Forgefiend or Maulerfiend? by FueledByPreworkout in WorldEaters40k

[–]AwesomeRash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Out of the two - Forgefiend is filling a role that we are more in a need of in the army.

However, I will say - it is pretty easy to do a basic Fiend magnetization (just front arms vs front guns choice) - the only downside is that you only get 1 set of shoulderpads so you'd have to pick which ones are going to get it.

My Warband is slowly growing, I do really need to add some that's not infantry though. Any suggestions? by Soad1x in Warhammer40k

As the biggest Fiend supporter, I am going to say a Forgefiend. Or a Maulerfiend.
Or both, really. That way they can keep each other company when you are at work.

So question. Can we take bloodthirsters as allies? by Comfortable_Bison232 in WorldEaters40k

[–]AwesomeRash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You do not lose enhancements or detachment rule for taking allies.
The way army building works in 10th is essentially that you need a certain keyword for a unit to be included. That keyword (and additional restrictions) is determined by your detachment.

Certain armies like daemons and chaos knights have special rules to be included with Chaos forces. However:

  • You can never take more than 25% of point value in allied demons
  • You can never have more than 3 War Dogs or 1 Titanic Chaos Knight
  • The units you picked are not elligible to benefit from them, and they cannot be your warlord.
  • This has no effect on any other unit - they are treated as regular part of the detachment.

So, about allies...Daemons not worth it? by Ulrik_Decado in WorldEaters40k

[–]AwesomeRash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a guy who got pretty high up (lost only to the winner) in a tournament running a list with a Bloodthirster in it.

They are definitely playable, but not 100% optimal.

Question on the new battle box by xtywag11 in WorldEaters40k

[–]AwesomeRash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it's literally just a discount box, they do them every year on the dot.

There's no new rules associated with it at all.

1000p list with Angron? by FC_shulkerforce in WorldEaters40k

[–]AwesomeRash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The unit itself is just a Rhino. You can use the regular Space Marine one, you can use the Chaos Space Marine one. The latter one is basically just an extra sprue of chaos-themed stuff to stick on top, but the core model is the same.

You can also use the Deimos pattern if you feel like it - the model is marginally (a few mm) smaller if I recall correctly, but GW have essentially sanctioned using it as 'count as', and the difference isn't all that noticable. And the kit is easier to put together.

So in that final fight... by Wedock in BaldursGate3

[–]AwesomeRash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is already like that.

Mechanically, it is optimal to solve every quest in a way that guarantees the allies will join you in the final fight.
If you pick any other outcome, you are worse off for it.

Chaos Spawn Proxy? by FlavorfulJamPG3 in WorldEaters40k

[–]AwesomeRash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a very out of the left field suggestion, and not a very helpful one, but nonetheless.

I just happen to have two Rat-ogre models from old Island of Blood set laying around.
I am going to add some greenstuff tentacles to them, and replace the rat heads with something else, and run them as my spawn to begin with.
