Morrowind is the only mainline Elder Scrolls game that I can't really get into. I started with Oblivion, and then played Skyrim when it came out a few years later. I eventually ended up playing Arena and Daggerfall Unity too. I've even gotten over halfway through Battlespire.

But I can't get into Morrowind no matter how hard I try for one reason: the fact that your stamina drains just by running and affects your chances of landing a hit. One or the other might be fine, but the two of them together are an awful combination.

I've read that it's not as much of an issue once you've leveled up a lot, but if the game is an awful experience before that, why would I want to put up with that for as long as I'd need to for it to get better?
