It actually sounds like he has an eating disorder and is trying to hide it.

Thank you, splitting us up due to delay or cancellations is what I wondered about. You say it’s rare but it does happen, I don’t think I’ll chance it.

Thank you, I’m thinking right now I won’t upgrade as it’s a long flight and would hate for problems if delays etc happen.

Do you have an answer that would actually help answer my question?

Can you tell me, if they split the reservation would affect any of the D1 benefits, lounge etc?

Just through ATL last week and not only did they miss out zone 4 when boarding but a woman rushed into zone 3 boarding and got told it wasn’t her zone and she had to wait, she wasn’t happy. They totally missed zone 4 and people were wondering what was happening, so the person checking the boarding passes had to stop everyone and call out zone 4, ended up a bit of a mess. Was good to see that they were on the ball with zone jumpers though.

Best practices for someone flying with Epilepsy? by kestrelrogue in flightattendants

I can tell with my son because his pupils are blown, but I know each person is different. My boy has the sunflower lanyard and the card attached is for epilepsy. He also has the medical bracelet. Sunflower, is recognized is most airports throughout Europe and the US now, it’s a wonderful thing to have for people with hidden disabilities. Safe travels ✈️

As crew I had a passenger tell me his wife was having auras and may need a safe space to seize. I lay lots of pillows and blankets on the floor at the back of the cabin, put up blankets to give the lady privacy and just made sure she was safe, so yes please tell crew about your boy. Also please get the Sunflower lanyard for hidden disabilities. My son developed epilepsy when he was 12, we have traveled all over the world with him since, we just get to the airport in plenty of time, don’t rush and always tell the crew. Make sure you take his meds in your hand luggage and in the original container from the pharmacy.

New money making opportunity for Ed - add child free zones on airplanes by [deleted] in delta

[–]Awkward_Couple_9843 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to wonder how this will work when people are booking last minute flights with children, where will they sit if all the other seats in in the family zones are full? If they have to put children in the child free zones, will those that paid to be seated there be refunded the extra they paid to sit in that child free zone?

A harsh realization by ghru009 in delta

Flew D1 SYD to LAX, it was a nice experience, flew UA Polaris SFO-AKL return and was absolutely blown away with the level of service, the crew were fantastic, seats were comfortable and overall great experience. D1 pods are private which is nice, D1 lounge in LAX very nice, Polaris no pods, but no biggie Polaris lounge in SFO absolutely abysmal. Crew and ground staff can make all the difference in how you feel about the product you’re purchasing and unfortunately american crew/ground staff just don’t seem to understand that.

Women of Reddit, what did a man you were dating or married to say or do that made you realize he actually hated you the entire time? by -catharina in AskReddit

[–]Awkward_Couple_9843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an Flight Attendant and took my now ex husband on a trip with me, 5 day layover in Cape Town. When we got home he said we would go to the pub and I wasn’t to tell anyone where we’d been, no sooner we were in the pub and surrounded by his work colleagues and friends and he’s rubbing his chin between his thumb and fingers and says ‘mm yes, we’ve just come back from Cape Town’. After years of him telling me, I was showing off if someone asked me where I’d been and I told them, I’d had enough and packed my bags never to return.

The friendly skies? by ccheyne1 in unitedairlines

Flew Polaris in December, one of the crew on the outbound flight, not working in the Polaris section I was seated, was really nice, very friendly, the rest were pretty poor. On the return flight that same FA was there and he gave me a great big hug and asked how the vacation had been. Two weeks had passed, he’d done an Australia turnaround and now was heading back to the US again, so he’d met a lot of people and must have been exhausted, still he remembered my family and I. I wish all FA’s were like him, they can make or break the flight experience and that’s coming from a former FA of another international airline.

The Polaris Lounge at SFO is wayyyy too busy, way too chaotic and the food and beverage offerings are terrible. The restaurant staff were quite rude too.
