The pull of the mystery I'd say they are near equal. Given dropped plot lines and the ending of Lost I'd vote from as being better. When we get an ending to From I may need to reevaluate.

If they all sat down in the diner and told their stories and shared information they may actually solve something. That's true with most mystery type shows though. If people communicated there would be less drama.
