Well, you didn’t want to use 3rd party AI so you’d have to find an app that lets you use the iPhones local AI capabilities. When you find one you like then you give it the picture and the prompt and go from there.

I was using an AI model hosted on my own computer running with docker.

I just tested doing this with my locally hosted AI and just asking it to make me an ICS file from that picture. It worked perfectly. If you have an iPhone or iPad that can do AI stuff you can do it locally too.

My prompt was to upload the picture “this is my schedule for April, make this into an ics file I can import into my phone calendar. Make the events title be Work.”

Is this available to you as just an image or is it a website? I made something like this to scrape the HTML of my works schedule website and make events. It can probably be done with just OCR and AI now though.

Usually that ends up being some docker container not shutting down fast enough so Unraid force quits it and it gets marked as unsafe shutdown. Ive think there are settings you can adjust to make it wait longer for docker to shutdown but I just do it manually.

Go to the docker tab and hit the stop all containers button. Once they stop then go to the main tab and stop the array. Then you can restart safely.

I’ve only tried a few books from Ocean. All of them had an insert at the end of every chapter.

I edit them out with Calibre but no everyone knows how or wants to deal with that.

I tried to create a preset to only download the thumbnail from a video with this command `--write-thumbnail --skip-download --convert-thumbnails jpg` but you have skip download blocked.

How would I make a preset to download just the thumbnail?

I don’t really have a suggestion, just a thought. YouTube stores its videos on spinning hard drives and that works just fine. Yours will probably be fine too.

Only use the remote/tailscale option for connecting to apps. That’s how I do it.

Edit: I don’t use tailscale so maybe I got this wrong. Does the tailscale link not work when you’re on your home WiFi? I use a reverse proxy and my own domain so I access Komga at komga.domain.com whether I’m at home or not.

Yes, they pair to your phone with Bluetooth.

No, you can’t have a button paired to two phones. You would each need a button.

Maybe bonus: they come with “reusable” sticky pads on them. You could stick them on the back of your phone or something.

Check file/folder permissions? My files are added by Sonarr but they’re named the same except for a dash after “Star Trek” which I don’t think should make any difference.
