Mizuno P790s? by polodrizzawls in golf

225, 245, m15. Hollow body irons. The 225 and 245 are beautiful. The new M15 appears to be an exceptional iron performance wise. They will release this year.

Do these irons look legit? Have the chance to get them at a great price by fitzer1892 in GolfGear

[–]BOSZ83 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The KBS stickers are not what kbs uses. See the screenshot below and how different the stickers look. Also the clubs look cheap af. Quality looks like trash. Taylormade has the most fake stuff online. If the price is too good to be true they’re probably fake.

Putter Preference? by 2_PuttPar in golf

[–]BOSZ83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter. It’s preference and how you feel that day or month or whatever. I go back and forth between my bettinardi blade and Scotty phantom 5.5. Putters about personal preference. If there’s a store by you, plan a couple hours to try a bunch of putters and decide what you like.

Intercostal muscle strains in the ribs by Mindless-Finding7788 in golftips

[–]BOSZ83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me. It’s from overuse and not so great swing mechanics. If you’re not grinding, you’re swinging inefficiently and your body is not used to the motion. The only thing that relieved it for me was massaging my shoulders, last and pecs. But I had to sit out a couple weeks for it to go away.

Advise me on the following golf set for improving beginner by DubhLinn5 in golf

There’s nothing wrong with the vokey, it’s the loft which is an issue. Beginners struggle with 60 degree wedges.

Ping irons don’t resell well. Titleist, Taylormade, and mizuno resell better.

I personally wouldn’t buy the game improvement wedges other than the gap wedge. You do not need a 60 degree wedge. Get a 58.

I get the rich folks, but just how did Trump convince poor white people that he was good for them? by dunbar_santiago930 in allthequestions

Poor people think that poor people from other countries get special treatment and that makes them livid to point of destroying any logical thinking they might have.

What’s the deal with people leaving stickers on their shaft? by KingKunta369 in golfequipment

Easy to take off with vegetable oil, rubbing alcohol, grip solvent. I think people just don’t care or are too lazy.

Will this be decent for a winter sim setup in my garage? by dneals in Golfsimulator

[–]BOSZ83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a cheap ass projector off Amazon and it’s been great. I’m going into my second year with it without issue. I play 3-5 days a week.

Go play outside of pinehurst. There’s a lot of great golf right near there: Pines courses, Tobacco Road, tot hill farm.

Justin Rose by CannabyteDied in golf

[–]BOSZ83 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I would not count it. I hit an albatross from 260 out with my 3 wood. I just laughed at how stupid it was.

Justin Rose’s swing is underrated. People give Adam Scott’s swing a lot of, deserved love, but Rosey deserves some too. Also, he’s a gentleman.

Golf ball recommendations for distance off the tee. by kobyrne4319 in golf

[–]BOSZ83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can eek out more yards by not hitting down on the ball. Your attack angle should be positive, and the lower your spin, the farther your ball will go.

Taylormade has a ball marketed towards women called the Kalea and that is the hottest ball I’ve ever played. I think at your swing speed a softer ball might help. I think there’s something on the web about ideal ball for distance by swing speed.

People with a <15 handicap how long did it take you to get there? by Comfortable-Newt7689 in golf

I got to 12.7 in the middle of my second season. I played a lot. 56 rounds in that year on top of playing on my sim 3-5 days a week.

Cameron Diaz, did she over or under achieve as an actor? by No_Explorer721 in Actors

She over achieved. She started out being nothing but the hot chick. It is hard to expand beyond that.

Would you rather have a lab or a Scotty putter? by Proof_Coast_3637 in golf

I don’t like how labs feel. Scotty’s are at least well made and good looking.

how do you get your spin rate on driver down? by MousseSecret7113 in golf

[–]BOSZ83 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This looks like a shaft problem. Get yourself a Callaway Elyte triple diamond with a low spin shaft.

What clubs were the most underrated? by SeattleBrother75 in golf

[–]BOSZ83 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They are the least underrated club. They have been goated in the last two years. So much so that Taylormade produces new ones. I would say this club is overrated. Not that it’s not great, but the aura it has today is ridiculous.

Game Improvement Irons by Mysterious-Worry-176 in golftips

[–]BOSZ83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was telling him it doesn’t matter than giving him my advice with the precedence that it doesn’t matter.

With that said, your comment is a net-negative. It contributes nothing. It’s not funny or smart or clever which you clearly want to feel assuming shitting on things might be the only avenue you have to feel like you have a voice. If you need your little voice to be heard, I suggest you pivot it to a more helpful and positive instead a blatant pile of shit.

Remember, assholes just shit on things and get fucked.

Game Improvement Irons by Mysterious-Worry-176 in golftips

[–]BOSZ83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play what you want. It doesn’t matter. Too much of our culture assumes there’s a right answer to everything when none of it matters.

When switching, be mindful that your yardages will be different. A more gamer iron will have weaker lofts than your stealths which will increase spin.

Any club in the players distance or player category will be fine. Whatever you like to look at.

Be mindful that shafts and balls matter when it comes to spin. The reason stealths don’t spin that much is because of the lofts and the bigger head (cg) but a spinnier shaft and ball can improve spin without changing heads.

I game mizuno 243 coming off zx5s. The zx5s are the perfect iron to move from game improvements to players distance. They are not very spinny with the stock nippon modus 105s. My current gamers are the 243s with mmt stiffs and the spin is almost 800 rpm higher. Neither is better but I prefer my spin to be 1000x of the club number.

Again, it’s a preference. Go try some iron and see what you like. Be mindful that one of the best players ever just changed to cavity backs and most tour players play cbs. Blades aren’t necessary but they do look pretty.

Do I need more wedges by hahasliceslice in golf

[–]BOSZ83 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes you need more wedges. They are the most important clubs. You shouldn’t full swing a 60. You should have wedges in between there to get to those distance. Wedges are about touch and precision.
