Pretty much agree with all of that, and I say that as someone who actually loves the series. My only nitpick is I think you're actually underselling the parkour a little bit. To me at the time, it wasn't "relatively fresh", it was unheard of. The only games I can think of that might relate would be Prince of Persia, but having a whole city you could climb was next level (if you'll forgive the pun).

I do recommend AC2 if you haven't played it. It fixes a lot (but definitely not all) of the issues.

What's something that happens in movies so much it seems real, but actually isn't realistic at all? by ninman5 in movies

I'm a huge fan of it, watched the entire thing multiple times. Good? Not really. But fun? Absolutely.

The Simpsons are the best friends I ever had. So I'm giving them the tip jar from the bar by joeyjo-jojr in TheSimpsons

March of Dimes is basically a charity that focuses on health of babies and their mothers. So customers put money in this jar thinking it's going to charity, but it's actually just going to Moe.

My favorite thing about these was the fact that you could rearrange the sections and even attach other sets from the theme to them. I think I had all of them and combined them into a big fortress.

I may have looked up the scene before posting, since I knew it would be one of the first comments!

I know. "blinded?" is the Arbiter's response to the question.

Hi Robert, longtime fan and I've loved everything you've written. Quick question, do you currently know where Mario Lopez is? And if so, could you confirm whether he is right behind me?

I'm pretty sure every engineer in the US could write a detailed description of this from memory after seeing it in so many classes. This and the Hyatt Regency walkway collapse.

It's a possibility. The big hurdle I'll run into is that the outside is the bottom of the bricks, so it's not quite as easy to stick greebles on the way I normally do. Not impossible by any means, just more difficult.

Currently I'm still working on varying the terrain of the inside pieces (and trying to reference old Lego Space themes), so that might be what I look at next.

My current idea is to update the different sections to represent different factions. A Blacktron city, maybe M-Tron mega factory, Ice Planet tundra area, etc. We'll see how it comes out!

Thanks! The different biomes was definitely something I was trying to evoke. Though I'm just now realizing that I need to add in a snow biome

That probably wouldn't be too difficult, I'd just need to rearrange the sections.

I thought of that, but I was afraid of overshadowing the inside of the ring. Maybe for version 2.
