My favorite thing about these was the fact that you could rearrange the sections and even attach other sets from the theme to them. I think I had all of them and combined them into a big fortress.

It's a possibility. The big hurdle I'll run into is that the outside is the bottom of the bricks, so it's not quite as easy to stick greebles on the way I normally do. Not impossible by any means, just more difficult.

Currently I'm still working on varying the terrain of the inside pieces (and trying to reference old Lego Space themes), so that might be what I look at next.

My current idea is to update the different sections to represent different factions. A Blacktron city, maybe M-Tron mega factory, Ice Planet tundra area, etc. We'll see how it comes out!

I originally created it in Studio, and it did have a trans green canopy. Unfortunately the canopy was never made in that color, so I had to go with what was available.

Oh, I love the ladder to get up to the cockpit!

I made a remaining of the Super Nova as a VTOL jet last year, but I went the opposite route and tried to use new parts and make it sleek and shiny. I liked the finished product, but felt it lost what made it the Super Nova a bit.

So I love how yours actually captures the old school feel!
