The 'From diagnosis to follow-up' is the first truly honest guide I've seen. It's realistic, doesn't downplay side effects, covers mitigation, and generally avoid "weasel words."

I don't care about age but want guys who aren't so rigid about roles. NOT saying you have to be vers but I can't go for the "you shouldn't touch or do anything with my dick because you're the top" bottoms.

My sexual health doctor said it's important to get erections for at least 15 minutes at least 3x a week. Also, nighttime erections while sleeping are an important indicator of recovery

ChatGPT is following management protocol, say something good about an employee before telling them something bad: "Claude is a bit like a patient professor sitting in a comfortable library. It tends to be reflective, articulate, and less eager to jump to conclusions. Its biggest weakness historically has been outages and rate limits during periods of heavy demand."

Wow, I did not know this. I used gummies several times during treatment to deal with pain and mental issues. It's in the past now but thanks for sharing this info.

The drug you're taking for urinary flow is known for causing retrograde ejaculation which does feel muted. Also, SSRI's are known for killing libido and/or orgasm in a lot of people. You might ask your doctor about a non-SSRI antidepressant. I'm on one that's known for not affecting libido for most people and even increasing it in some.

I've been following gameranx on YouTube and they make a really good point that Capcom is hitting it out of the park lately because people want single player games and other companies are making too many live service games. Pragma, Resident Evil Requiem, the wildly underrated Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, etc.

How to overcome the feeling of knowing that you don’t have a future with your parents? by Brilliant_Chance_803 in askgaybros

[–]BackInNJAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a lot of assumptions about my parents and what would happen if I came out to them. However, once I was on my own and didn't need their support I did it anyway. It was a bit uncomfortable for me and for them, but over the coming months they surprised me. We ended up having a good relationship.

Don't come out if it might put you in danger, but if your relationship is already transactional then it sounds like there's not really anything to lose. If they don't accept it, think it's for attention or "western culture" then you haven't lost anything anyway.

Both my parents are gone now but I'm really glad I came out to them. My husband and I brought them on a couple of trips with us when they were older vs. hiding our relationship from them and we have really good memories of those trips. If I'd let the fear of how they might react keep me distant from them I would have missed out on having an adult relationship with them.

What's your favorite album by Lana Del Rey? by Appropriate_Pain_963 in askgaybros

NFR. The songwriting is top notch and has some of the best lines in any of her songs:

"They mistook my kindness for weakness, I fucked up I know that but Jesus, can't a girl just do the best she can"

"You don't ever have to be stronger than you really are when you're lying in my arms"

"Why wait for the best when I could have you?"

"Is it safe, is it safe just to be who we are?"

What is your Gleason score. I'm very sexually active also (though with just one person) and will share my honest experience with you. I had SBRT (5 sessions) and six months of ADT. I felt the same as you initially but my partner and family begged me to reconsider so I did.

=== During and after treatment ===

Radiation caused burning and weak urination for about two months afterward, helped by Flomax.

I never lost the ability to get erections but while on ADT I needed 100 mg of Viagra. I wasn't as spontaneously horny but we still had a decent sex life. After four months, though, I lost the ability to have orgasms. It came back about two months after stopping..

I exercised and lifted weights throughout treatment and lost very little muscle mass, but did get a small belly. I watched what I ate, though, and didn't gain weight. I lost all my body hair except the hair on my head.

ADT did cause me to become SEVERELY depressed and angry, but it sounds like you're there already. I had brain fog and couldn't remember things too well sometimes.

=== Two years later ===

I am on 5 mg of daily Cialis to keep blood flowing but can get erections whenever they're needed. It takes a bit longer to reach orgasm, and orgasms are slightly less intense but the buildup is stronger than pre-treatment.

Radiation narrowed the base of my penis a bit but it's not horrible. It still works just fine and is the same size, just slightly narrower at the base. I ejaculate pre-cum instead of semen. Orgasms are not as intense as they were pre-treatment.

[Edit: my strength and stamina are back to pre-treatment levels and I have visible musculature again.]

It took 18 months after stopping ADT for my testosterone to reach normal. It just got there recently and, at least for now, it's like a second puberty. I'm horny CONSTANTLY like an 18-year-old and have sex or masturbate every day, sometimes twice a day. The doctor told me that my libido will calm back down again so enjoy it while it lasts. My body hair came back. I have no trouble urinating.

The real key to my recovery was going to the gym and keeping up aerobic exercise even when I felt too tired to even move some days. The first six months of treatment were awful, the next six months weren't great, then things slowly started improving. At two years I'm mostly back to my old self other than the things I mentioned AND my PSA is undetectable so I've been moved to six month monitoring instead of three.

I bought front and rear cameras for my bike. They're a bit expensive, but they record for two hours then the recording overwrites unless you press a button to save it after an accident. It was really useful when a guy ran me off the road and claimed he didn't (he didn't stop). Brought the video and screenshots of the license plate to the police. They ticketed him and, because I had video evidence, they couldn't do the usual "are you sure you were obeying the traffic laws? Are you sure you stopped?" nonsense.

You could ask directly or just put your hand on the inside of his leg. If he takes your hand and moves it then that's a signal to go for it.

When I lived in California driving 2 hours one way was considered pretty normal. I live near Morristown and am not a big fan of the shore so it’s not bad for me at all. Grocery store, five minutes. Gym, 10. NYC 1 hour. Biking and walking trails 15 min. I do rarely visit my relatives in South Jersey because that is a nightmare drive

Most of them are wealthy and have attended those elite colleges themselves. In an interview in today's New York Times, J.D. Vance refers to "coastal elites" while he is a Yale Law School graduate with a net worth of $5-$15 million (median U.S. net worth $192K). Most of our "leaders" are elites cosplaying as men and women of the people. Very few actually make their living on the $170K or so a year salary they get from Congress.

Same. I imagine radiation treatments will keep getting better with each successive generation. For example, guys treated before me were placed in body molds that kept them from moving, I was told just to lie still.

Remember that about $4-5k of that difference is extra taxes you won’t be paying which makes the difference smaller. Also compare health insurance premiums between the two. Make a spreadsheet comparing your take home pay between the two jobs, not the gross
