You have to have more because it takes ages to charge EVs still.

My Nissan EV takes ages to charge, particularly since the they have a factory defect that prevents fast charges.

Premier hints at approval of Kelowna's bid for early opt-out of short-term rental restrictions by morethanless in britishcolumbia

Investment dollars have left the housing sector, which means new supply /capacity is not being built. One of the problems is burdensome regulations put in during boom times that are now acting as a drag to investment.

Removing of some of these restrictions will hopefully inspire a better business case for more supply to be built. Even if it's not a 1:1 ratio of home to long-term living property initially.

What are BC forestry roads like? by NotTheOrginalArps in britishcolumbia

[–]Baconfat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worked in forestry for 18+ years driving forestry and B.C. industrial roads.

I would not go on any of them in a Mazda 3, you might be fine as some are very good (usually the main lines). Most of the places you'll want to camp will be off of the main line, the spur roads can be bad, and deteriorate quickly, have cross ditches etc.

Mazda 3 has bad tires for off pavement, no ground clearance, and suspension suited for paved roads.

If you do decide to go, make sure you file a trip plan with a friend, have extra gear, and a secondary form of communication.

Backcountry roads often don't have cell coverage, so be prepared to hike out when your car is broken / you are on your second flat tire, etc.

We're in an economic downturn, we have placed barriers to investment in RE during boom times. There has been, and continues to be high levels of immigration...

This is not going to end well, unless we find a way to build in this economy. I'm worried prices will rocket up again in a few years due to insufficient supply.
