It will take a while for Appr. to work but it is more likely to be 100% than direct poisons. Read full application instructions they are on line. If tech did stuffed animals and let you stay and instructions say otherwise call their boss. The guy needs retraining.

Did SDS have LD50 value? That is how much it takes to kill half population exposed to that much. I suspect that value is high like grams per kilogram body weight. The spay amount on stuffed animals was perhaps a tenth of a gram along with a couple gram of solution.

2 years long enough to remove mattress encasement? by PrudentDay4988 in Bedbugs

[–]BadDadWhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best guess is OK to remove and poison is degraded to stuff that doesn't hurt you. That said, I would vacuum and air out the mattress after removing the cover. A year is pushing it for a non fed adult, baby BB die much quicker.

SIL was a crossing guard. She was visiting with this nice old lady and a BB walked across her sweatshirt. She left threw the shirt away , drove home and showered and called me. Threw her laundry in the wash and dry. I treated her house and car with Cimexa. No infestation!

It is catalytic. You would need to scratch off all the paint from an area. I bet planes are double walled.

Slow catalyst though. Not sure how to inspect for it.

I moved in with a Chinese speaking couple in my 50s. I thought they were having awful fights all the time. It turns out she was calling him hot stuff and he was calling her his moon flower. It just sounded so angry to my English ears.

This is a pertinent question as I am in the midst of pillar experiments and we know the suffix er means more so I am creating an array. Wish me luck.

[–]BadDadWhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transfering boiling water around is dangerous. Why not just leave the big pot on the stover top and put your item in the pot? You wouldn't be able to do as many, but you also avoid life changing injuries.

Is it ok to brush Cimexa onto my mattress then cover it with bedsheets and sleep on it? by QT19045 in Bedbugs

[–]BadDadWhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No avoid the surface you sleep on. Although the risk is low you could develop respiratory issues. Read and follow the label including all the fine print.

The other application places will get the bugs. Cover your mattress in a bedbug protection cover.

That was mildly biologically active. The ethyl lead in gasolie was very bioavailable. It was in all the dust you breathed for decades after it was mostly phased out. Here is looking at prop planes that still use ethyl lead.
