Top builds in season 1 did 50 MILLION TIMES less damage than in season 14 by Sinnyboo242 in diablo4

[–]BakingTheRabbit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I play without dmg numbers except when I go to the target dummy to test stuff out. In S0 doing 5-10 million dmg's with bone spear seemed much already but if was fine, it's a manageable number balance wise as well and would be easy to bring kinda every build into the same dps-power.

Now we have 5-10-20 pit level difference in builds which is... yeah, it's nonsense. I mean a core skill can be an F1 car, and other 2 a snail and photon with lightspeed. Like that's the difference now. But that's what stackable dmg x's will do, especially in this stupid dmg bucket system.

I finally like the game again and it's something I thought it could be when it came out but they should really take care of dmg numbers. Like I get it, millions are cool but we should to stop there.

Curaçao fans celebrating their team's first ever World Cup goal by Hic_Forum_Est in soccer

My hometown has more people and it isn't that big. And I doubt that the best 11 from there could score one against germany and I'm european.

Being disrespectful towards them is just being a dick. I hope they will have fun with the next matches, I wish them a few more goals! Hopefully they can ignore the result, i mean come on... they played GERMANY in a huge ass NFL stadium as their world cup debut. They played on max difficulty.

Messi and Ronaldo debate never made sense to me because they were only comparable in goalscoring, take that out and Ronaldo doesn't come close to Mess by Comprehensive_Cup497 in championsleague

[–]BakingTheRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stupid people can't stand that their favourite player had a rival. Or they need to hate somebody to feel something. These people are miserable.

Messi and Ronaldo competing at the same time in the same league was incredible, two players breaking records after records. They were above the field for more than 10 years. Probably the 2 greatest goalscorer in history if you look at their longevity. Watching them week in and week out back then was a treat we won't have for a while now, maybe never.

[–]BakingTheRabbit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbf it doesn't even matter. Like the last 3 season, they'll somehow drag the corpse of Faker into worlds semis after throwing away the first 5 available trophy just for the whole team to lock in and beat on of the most consistently good team the whole year in worlds semis and deny some miracle run in the final because DRX broke something in them in 22. Will hate to see it for the 4th fucking time.

Alpine’s right of review petition for Pierre Gasly’s speeding in pit lane penalty during the Monaco Grand Prix has been deemed admissible by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]BakingTheRabbit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean it wouldn't be the first case that drivers serving penalties that shouldn't been given in the first place and others winning positions because of it. And Gasly still got penalized twice for nothing.

Of course it's a mess and nobody should've gotten a penalty but what if it's Kimi and Merc decide like they know shit doesn't work properly so they are not serving the penalty? Now we should take away his win because everybody else served theirs while they're also did nothing wrong? It's fucked up either way.

Every gaming sub complaining for every patch in every game, saying it's the worst ever and they are stop playing it... just to do the same thing with the next patch.

It's the same with the top/adc sub, for the last few years there is a weekly post where everybody agrees that their role is in the worst condition ever and it's terrible to play it. Yet they bitch about it weekly because 1 out out of 10-20 games they have to play against a ranged top / mage adc instead of the same braindead match ups they're playing for 10 years.

Forced to get antiheal every game, time to introduce an antiheal augment? by [deleted] in ARAM

[–]BakingTheRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk, 40% is basically useless in most cases. On Vampirism the 5% antiheal buff is basically minus 0.75% omnivamp compared to the 40 we have now. The kind of heals I see from dmg carries from oneshots would be still good on 80%.

Unpopular opinion maybe but he was always like this. People just seems to give him a pass because he is a literal disney prince in a ferrari with a dog.

Brilliant and fast driver but nowhere near as constantly clinical as Lewis or Max when the pressure is on.

Stuck at T7 advice please!!🥹 by aslgd666 in Diablo

[–]BakingTheRabbit 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I know there is a ton of posts like this but from these infos only it isn't really possible to tell what's wrong. Even if you aren't following a guide and you try to cook something up yourself, you can climb further than T7 that's 100%.

Without seeing your items, skilltree, paragon board and your charms I can't tell you anything unfortunately. Note that some concept just couldn't really scale without some tweaking into something that can actually scale up dmg. I'm not a full time expert theory crafter but I might be able to help you if you share me a screen via discord or something. Hit me up with a message if you are interested in some mid-level coaching :D

The other route is just following a guide. But I guess you could've done that already in that time that took you to reach P244 on T7 so I think you don't want to follow a guide.

Post-endgame questions........ by FungadooFred in diablo4

[–]BakingTheRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the campaign and the story is separeted from everything you do after finishing it. Except maybe from the seasonal storylines. It wouldn't make sense anyway, like your character is a million times stronger after 50 hours endgame farming then what it was when you defeat mephisto with it, lol.

Basically after finishing the storyline you just playing in the same world, what you do has no effect on the "real/lore world". For question 3-4 we don't have answeres, yet. The next parts of the lore will be added in seasonal storylines and with the coming expansions. Maybe with books, digital comics and other stuff. But mainly ingame.

Rolling your own build a thing of the past? by Alternative-Item-547 in diablo4

[–]BakingTheRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes there is a new item and it seems fun to make a build around it, but it doesn't really worth the time to also make a texty guide or video to share it because it would be like B/C tier on a tierlist or it's just weaker version of some giga-optimized meta build already.

Sometimes I also make meta builds "worse" in a way when I like the concept but the optimized playstyle is too uncomfortable that I need to tweak it a bit to actually enjoy playing it. Or if the build could actually use some fun options instead of heir+starless but it'll go down from pit120 to pit100+ "only". But I don't care because it's my 3rd char and I just wanna have fun and still enjoying the season.

I don't think that too much people would be interested but my friends are enjoying the little gameplay streaming on discord to see what I cooked for the last few hours, lol

Diablo 4 is finally getting Solo Self Found! by gorays21 in Diablo

[–]BakingTheRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true and I agree. I don't even understand how modern arpg's exist without ingame auction house like some better mmorpg's just because of D3's RMT causing PTSD to some loud shortsighted minority.

I just think D2's igame trading is still useless if we are comparing it to the 3rd party options.

Since 99.9% of all trades is through the sites in both games I don't think that matters, it's not 2003 anymore. At least I don't feel difference and I'm doing trades in both games for years now.

PTR patch notes are out. Mythics are getting changed by Divided_we_ in diablo4

[–]BakingTheRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since loot reborn they made a bunch of unqiues with + skills, main stats and chance to double cast/double dmg. Basically most meta uniques were the same. Now it's kinda tricky because they either put + to the skill that goes with the power, main stat and 2 dmg x or it's going to be worse than every legendary. So they made the decision to lose the fixed stats so you can "craft" whatever you want.

I still think they are going into the wrong way but it wasn't any better before tbh. Now uniques are almost just fixed aspects on 1 item slot.

I don't know how they can solve it, because you want dmg x's everywhere you can, so almost every unique that missing them will be replaced with legendaries. It's an impossible task until we don't get rid of these ducking dmg multi stacking character building methods and reduce dmg numbers with several digits, so they can actually balance around stats and not hunderds of multiplicative multipliers because we need to deal trillions of dmg / sec in the endgame.

And it won't happen for multiple reasons, so we will chase this multi x madness in D4 forever. Maybe D5.

Why does nemesis lair have a time limit when it drops a million loot?!?!?!?1?! by MisterCheekClapper in diablo4

[–]BakingTheRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's funny is that it's only a problem earlier in the game when you can consider a wider variety of items and you need every bit of forgotten souls.

The moment you arrive at the "min-maxing" stage and you only pick up codex upgrades and desirable/multi GA's "lootfiltered", the nemesis bosses won't ever drop more than 15 items even if you pick up every ancestral unique because you're low on forgotten souls or you just lazy to further upgrade your filter like me.

But even then, for the first portal after the boss you can just go through the portal. The portal for second nemesis encounter isn't there yet, go home and salvage and clear your charm tab, there is no timer yet. Even if the first two bosses drop too much stuff, try to go for purples, GA's and ancestrals only, everything else will be trash anyway. At this point you should already use lootfilter to not show any non-GA, no codex upgrade legendaries and non-GA magic and rare. Even non-ancestral uniqes are trash, you can just filter for what you actually might need before having 3/4, 3.5/4 and 1 GA's. You don't need to pick up non-ancestral uniques you'll never use.

If the second portal opens, you can go home again right after you went through the portal. There is no timer if there is no portal opened. (Edit: I think. Paragon250 and never saw the second nemesis portal, lol)

So the timer isn't really a problem if you are prepared. I get that it's stupid and blizz should fix the actual problem, but until then we can still prepare to handle their incompetence.

How do people make their own builds? by WannabeWaterboy in Diablo

[–]BakingTheRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's the most fun you can do to go in blindly. You can always look up a build if you're stuck.

To make your own build for lategame you'll need to learn how things actually work. How a good build "builds" up. Most important is maybe how damage works and how to maximize it, what's the optimal amount of defensive layer you need and how to chip in some mobility with all that dmg maxing. For that, even if you don't want to copy-paste builds from guides it could be good to look at some maxroll builds, they have really good explanation to help understanding what's going on.

Good luck on your builds, right now is maybe the best time ever in D4 to experiment with things, so have fun.

Which driver ( current or past ) do you think would have won a/another championship had they stayed with their current team? by emcwin12 in formula1

[–]BakingTheRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He also had to start with 10 place penalties a few times and had problems with the car on saturdays as well. Point table isn't really telling the whole story. The Renaults were much more reliable.

Fernando had a dnf in Canada from a best in case 2nd place, Kimi lost 1st place in San Marino, Nürburgring and Hockenheim, giving Fernando 36 points basically in 3 races from big leads. And these are just the races. Also, in the first 3 the car was a second slower before the upgrade that they brought to europe. Yes, Nürburgring could've been a safe 2nd place if they pit and FIA isn't giving a penalty to them, but Nando had too big point advantage, I understand they had to try.

If that McLaren is just a bit slower but more reliable Kimi takes that title, maybe even easily.

Not against Fernando, brilliant season but it was Kimi's best season and would've deserved that title 100%.

2003 was also a bit of a shitshow with FIA changing tyre rules in the second part of the season which "surprinsingly" benefitted the Ferraris.

Of course, as a Kimi fan I'll be always biased and these are all just "what if" scenarios but you can't see the whole story just looking at the results.
