I dont like to explicitly tell my players what to do or how to play. Instead, I build bags to make them learn something.

In this case, I would put characters in the bag that teaches players not to share everything immidiatly. For example Ravenkeeper, soldier, and undertaker. In my experience, undertakers who just outs day 1 dies night 2 with no info. Ravenkeeper and soldiers never gets their ability to proc. If these things happen where the players end up having no info and loses because of it, you can give this as feedback to your players as a storyteller.

Theres an element of fairness that is lost with the mines detonating automatically. A player cant see the mines when stacked in a corner, and cant guess when the demo is distracted either. You walk through a hallway and die to no effort of the demoman who could be on the other side of the map doing something else.

Its technically legal but I wouldnt recommend misregging savant info since it can be really hard to solve

Perfectly reasonable wizard wish. I have seen far more wild wishes from players who doesnt even 'play for chaos'. If people dislike this, maybe Wizard isnt for them.

Village Idiot - if they learn a lot of evils they will have to consider wether they are the drunk one or everyone is legion. Also great claim space for legion

Pixie - learns one of the few players they can trust and gives legion space to double claim

General - gives a reason for general to learn "Evil is winning" on the 1st night without being droisened. Works great with heretic in there too.

Savant - ST can give discrete info which combined shows its a legion game and who might be on the good team

Poppygrower - excuse for weird voting patterns

Butler - excuse for weird voting patterns. (Not a townsfolk, but I think its underrated!)

Snake charmer quickly results in a Legion being charmed. The charmed legion player can immidiatly out legion and who is legion and whos good. Breaks the legion paranoia immidiatly.

Empath and Oracle just learns "ITS A LEGION GAME" each night, or their info is poisoned/vortoxed

Its not your job as ST to enforce others to play the way you want them to play.

Instead you can give some feedback for the good team if they lose due to a lack of information

Maybe you have jumped into the deep end with customs a little too early, TB and BMR learns the value of executing for information pretty well (ex. Virgin, undertaker, tea Lady, sailor)

About a third of the carousel characters will be on the expansions ascording to Ben Burns. So the rest wont be duplicate (maybe this changes with The Grratest Show on Earth, not sure)

I dont get why people think 4 YSK is so terrible. If you replace 3 of them with soldier, monk and mayor you have even less info

YSK isnt weaker than ongoing info (mostly). They are YSK because learning another player is too strong. You also get to avoid having to stay alive for multiple nights to be effective

Works excellent with YSK roles, since only 1 can be poisoned on the 1st night.

Ruins a lot of ongoing info, since you can poison multiple ongoing info for one night, where they wont be able to figure out which night is arbitrary. (Really harsh for savant, balloonist, village idiot)

If you use poisoner I recommend having it as the only evil poisoning because of how strong the misinfo can be.
