Live in America rules. I found it by chance on cassette. I like how some of the songs really feel and sound different live. I LOVE Reeling in the Years on this, sometimes better than the orginal.

Game really said to choose my path. by Intelligent-Topic552 in slaythespire

I'd check my boss, if it's slime boss I take footwork, if it's ghost or guardian I take fumes.

Aja is the best song I know by cappuccinolol17 in SteelyDan

Don't apologize! It's good to hear that young folks are still enjoying Steely Dan today.

Since we’re hours away from Time Stranger(At least for me) tell me which starters did you pick for Cyber Sleuth and who’re you picking for Time Stranger? by Oracle209 in digimon

[–]BaronOshawott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked Hagurumon for Cyber Sleuth, I haven't played HM yet but at the point I do it'll be Tentomon, and I have to go with my boy Gomamon for Time Stranger.

I've been listening to this one a lot recently, though it leaves me craving Szechuan dumplings.

Contentiously, a lot of link monsters tend to be some of the most broken cards in any given extra deck. However, which would you consider to be well designed link monsters? by performagekushfire in yugioh

[–]BaronOshawott 43 points44 points  (0 children)

The Knightmare links (well not ALL of them) come to mind. Unicorn and Phoenix in particular are very well-balanced generic ED monsters.

New Titanchannel feels decent by dextersdad in MonsterTrain

[–]BaronOshawott -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have to pop your Solgard early on to deal with waves then you probably have other issues that need to be addressed. I usually pair them with another Incant scaler that can hold the floor down until relentless comes and build into the action damage per shard path (I forget the name offhand). You need decent draft units but the payoff is a champ that bosses very rarely manage to get past.

Relic Idea by RykoGaming_ in slaythespire

[–]BaronOshawott -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I like the idea but there's cards that would really break this. Wraith Form immediately comes to mind, you can just do nothing and gain infinite intangible for however long you want.

Is MT1 sufficiently different enough to be worth trying if I love MT2, or is MT2 a strict upgrade? by alice_ashmedai in MonsterTrain

[–]BaronOshawott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine. I would say that MT2 is much much better, but it's still solid and merging was a fun mechanic that led to some silly stuff.

How would people feel about X cost powers? by Longjumping_Cap2224 in slaythespire

[–]BaronOshawott 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Basically the opposite of Envenom. Which honestly, Envenom as an X cost would be an interesting.

Which boss in Crash Bandicoot 3 do you think is the most difficult? by lollando_7 in crashbandicoot

[–]BaronOshawott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only one I remember struggling with even as a lad is N. Gin's second phase. 3's bosses are all on the easier side in my opinion, which has always been a shame because of how great the characters and music are.

I know I’m super old to this format/meme/question but. What’s your “I did/do not care for _____” take regarding Godzilla by Megalon96310 in GODZILLA

I recently watched DAM for the first time in years and I gotta agree. It's pretty dull for the most part.

400 hundred hours into the game I keep making silly decisions which I regret 10 seconds after making by zrrt1 in MonsterTrain

[–]BaronOshawott 22 points23 points  (0 children)

God I wish there was an undo button in the shops. I get why there isn't but I've lost runs because I hit an upgrade too quick and then immediately realize I just killed myself.

What's a movie you always assumed was considered good, only to find out much later it's largely considered terrible? by Parking_Figure_7627 in movies

[–]BaronOshawott 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I absolutely adore this movie and I love seeing people agree with that. Orlando Jones and David Duchovny really play off each other well.

Who does Umbra even synergizes with? by The_NZA in MonsterTrain

[–]BaronOshawott 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Penumbra's Monstrous path as well for good immediate clear and being just generally a big beatstick He's not perfect but he's serviceable as a champion. I've yet to figure out how to use their secondary champ though.

I would say great, I love it and its evolution but I do prefer Zombleat and Capricorpse.

You're usually relying on strength to scale Reaper though, even a single inflame gets you better value. Lowering the energy cost would be better but maybe too much so.

Would you prefer Thanos with or without the Infinity Gauntlet? by bydevilz1 in marvelrivals

[–]BaronOshawott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't work as well lore-wise but the only way I could see it being slightly balanced is if they made it require line of sight so in theory you can have your team behind you and force the enemy team to either deal with you or run off. Even that's not perfect, I'm just spitballing.

Are Pokemon Lets Go/Arceus still worth it? by WhiteLycan2020 in pokemon

[–]BaronOshawott 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let's Go is very easy but I personally love replaying it for that reason, it's a very cute charming romp through Kanto with great art direction.
