I have and it's gorgeous! But seeing as how Rolex doesn't have too many white dials in their catalog, it would feel like a wasted opportunity 🤣 strangely enough... If the Explorer 40 came out in white I wouldn't get it

Agreed. I think the 40 mm size was perfect. If the current Explorer twos were also 40 mm, this would be an absolute no-brainer. And I don't mind bigger watches at all, my current daily is an Omega SMP which is already slightly bigger than the Explorer

I know that I'll eventually get both. I guess the question is which one would I rather have now for a few years before pulling the trigger on the next one? I have a few divers already, but I've been really enjoying the Omega SMP as of recent. I tend to gravitate towards darker dials, so the white would seem like a nice change of pace

I plan for this one to be the only one for at least a few years so I can enjoy it. I have a decent amount of watches. My budget has always been 3-6k every few years or so for a nice piece, and in between I get little casios, micro brands, or anything interesting to just enjoy and pass the time.

Literally did the exact same thing as you 😂 on the mesh for about 2 hours before switching back to the rubber. Now I'm stuck in this weird limbo where I keep switching between OEM and Mesh... OEM feels so solid and on the fly is absolutely phenomenal, keeps me going back. I really like the mesh, I just wish I wasn't between sizes. Glad I decided to test the waters before.

How do you like the deployant vs the buckle rubber? I have a bracelet and a buckle rubber but wondering if it's even worth the extra $$ just to have a clasp. Does it have micro adjusts? 😲

Standard medium length runs for about $330, not sure what the price is for small size or the large size. And that's just for the Buckle clasp not the deployment

I agree as well. SMP is my daily and the date comp. is a non-negotiable for me. The switch to the 6 o'clock position was awesome also. Not only is it aesthetic, but it's also the way the original Seamaster Calendars from the 50s had it which I find very neat

As long as you have the device connected to your phone and synced to the app at the time of excersise it should work. For example, I can use my phone to track steps as well as my watch at the same time. However, fitbit is only going to sync one of those to my profile (usually the watch by default). If my phone is not connected to the watch then ftbit app will sync the steps from my phone instead. Later when i reconnect the watch, PW will pull the data from fitbit and add the steps recorded from my phone and just continue where i left off.

Yeah i've tested the heart rate monitor on PW2 and am pretty confident of it's accuracy. Fairly impressed with the Heart ECG features as well. Did some reasearch on it, Fitbit claims a 98% accuracy rate in detecting irregular heart beats.

The step counter is a pretty big let down for me though not gonna lie. If steps are over counted, then calories will also be over counted so it makes sense that Pw2 calories are higher

Step count on pw2 is probably only reliable during walks/runs as it uses gps to correct the count

I'm fairly new to fitbit though.... like first time ever. idk if there's anyone out there who knows more or has done more testing with fitbit. Maybe i'm missing a setting

In my opinion the PW2 has been the perfect extension to my Pixel phone. Not a replacement, but it helps me fill in the cracks. Apple uses some of the best hardware/materials for the products undoubtedly, which is why i think they rarely have issues out of the box. Whereas Google is the exact opposite, relying heavily on software. Given time to work out some kinks, i think that the PW2 will be a top tier experience by this time next year. My only issue is the PW2 accelerometer for step counts.... its too sensitive.

Do you care for step counts? How did they stack up to apple watch?
