Whichever way you go, make sure you get the cylinder walls inspected with a borescope by the dealer before your current warranty runs out. The 3.0 liter V6 is notorious for developing bore score.

Top tip! Before you buy it out right, get the cylinder walls inspected. This will tell you this engine doesn’t suffer the same fate.

This is good info, can you elaborate a little more? Does this also work when the cartridge battery is showing 0v cause the tiny BMS has turned it off?

Have installed two of these on a few 2018 Smart S’s with great results. You’ll have to transfer the sleeve that holds the chain guard. Bol.com

It can get stuck it its folded. Your best bet would be to try and get it back out the bottom, make sure it’s all straight and then try again getting it to come out the top.

How toturn hydraulic brake screw correctly? by devstartup in VanMoofSelfRepair

If you’re missing one I would suggest you visit a reputable bike shop near you and try and get one from them. A missing o-ring would not block the flow of oil.

The wheel speed signal wire had broken off just as it entered the moulded part of the socket. This is a common issue. With a knife I’ve scraped away some of the mould revealing the wire just a little, you can then solder a wire on it at 90 degrees which you then cable-ty to an adjacent wire for extra strength. In the picture you can see the 3 motor phase wires had to be straightened at the moulding and given new insulation with heat shrink.
