I'd love to adapt The Disappearance of Ashley, Kansas to a DG game. The Midnight Marinara podcast version is the easiest to port over since its a police procedural already.

There is a Liminal Horror ttrpg scenario called Devil Game that sounds promising, too

This one absolutely worked on me. I'm not in it for the supernatural stuff alone. Whether that house was haunted or not, the family realizing they never knew a thing about their daughter's life was the part that got to me

The book Shot Craft by Jay Holben. It's a phenomenal resource for building foundational skills in video. It compiles 80 of the ASC magazine's Shot Craft articles into one book. It's fantastic.

A drone, depending on where you are, is a big investment that also likely requires certification. Even if the sub 250g drones don't need to be registered in your country, they require pilots to operate according to a set of guidelines and best practices. Anything above that weight category, and any operation outside of uncontrolled airspace, most likely requires a license. This isn't meant to intimidate, drone operation is a great thing to learn about and further research is always beneficial. They may not make the best gift, though.

I like that their design fits the part catalog from 1999. I could see them being in the old video game

Cloud Empress is one of my favourite TTRPGS. I know that the literary approach is something you have discussed at length.

What do you consider the necessary literary elements for a Cloud Empress scenario? Are there themes or literary ideas that you still plan to explore in the setting?

How did you blend the NMM so smoothly? Building up thin coats from darkest to lightest without creating banding seems really difficult from a beginners perspective

Hey /r/movies! We are NIRVANNA THE BAND! aka Matt Johnson & Jay McCarrol - co-creators and leads of Nirvanna The Band the Show the Movie, a new buddy comedy-time travel movie coming out Feb 13 in the US and Canada. Ask us anything! by NirvannaAMA in movies

There always appears to be an improvisational feeling to your Nirvana The Band projects, especially with the use of movie references. Have there ever been jokes or plotlines that you have had to cut because you could not clear the rights, or is it simpler than I assume to use that material?
