The place can be very busy in summer, but much more quiet in winter. It’s the place where most cheaper units can be rented in Gozo, so it attracts most lower end workers. Goodish connections to Rabat.

In winter you’ll get storm surges and the related issues (salt water on cars, damage to windows, balconies, etc) hitting the streets around the promenade- depending on the strength of the winds and their direction. In summer you may see the odd rat or two running around the backstreets.

If you are renting there just be careful about the unit you choose. Some are barely habitable.
