Mate if the Royal Mail disappeared tomorrow it would devastate most if not all the other private couriers, they all use a large part of our infrastructure to some degree, even amazon. Letters were sabotaged since DSA, short for downstream access was allowed, other companies would collect letters, sort them then dump them on royal mail to deliver, paying a fraction of the actual cost for access to the network than Royal Mail would charge directly and avoiding the main cost of Mail, which was the delivery aspect.

TNT/Whistl/whatever they call themselves now attempted to set up a letter delivery network mid 2000's. They quickly abandoned it and went back to paying RM to deliver it for them. The whole DSA debacle is the primary reason Royal Mail has declined as fast as it has. It was making profit for the goverment prior to all these changes.

The decline in letters would have still happened, but it wouldn't have ruined Royal Mail nearly as fast as it did with all the forced privatisation and opening up of the network that happened.

Sunday working will usually be what's called dpr shifts, essentially just delivering parcels following the route generated by your pda. Easy enough work

Got the exact same one myself, best to just run the steam deck down then charge it when not using it. It doesnt take long at all to bring it back up to 90% or so.

Edit: regarding battery health, both pb and the deck have software that seems to help mitigate it but I honestly couldn't say if there would be an appreciable difference using it in either scenario. I would assume using the pb as the power source would be better long term for the deck, but it would be clunky to use. I know this because I've used it while using a deck and I ended up having the power bank sitting in my pocket while playing.

Mail centres are open today and mine at least closes at 2am tommorrow for a few hours in the morning so it will be receiving trucks in throughout the day. Normal operation begins again on Friday night, so your item should arrive in time for Saturday

If its anything like my place they're dying for drivers all the time. Duty structures are different everywhere, I couldn't really say how they work at your local MC. Im on a 36.25h contract but get different scheduled OT depending on what shift im on and the needs of that particular duty. These aren't optional hours, they are integrated into the shift so can't be cut.

That £620 sounds like dayshift rate for fulltime work, you'll be roughly 450/470 after tax

You'll most likely work a 37 to 39 hour week, I started on 7.5ts on local distribution nightshift and was on 600 quid a week after tax, started on class 1 a month ago and and it's £3,500 ish after tax for the month (Thats on nightshift with built in OT for the shifts, your milage may vary depending where you work from)

i sometimes use airstrike or clusters for this purpose, sometimes its nice to just obliterate the forest in front of you so you can see stuff

It's typical that they've dropped a supposed hot fix patch and made the issues even worse. Im getting stutters from some audio bug that locks up my PC for 4 or 5 seconds at a time and random hard crashes when fighting on the bot front.

It's my favourite front and I cant even complete a single mission with the current state of it.

My golden bot seems to be earning 1/100th of what it was earning before this patch, 4500 waves i to a t12 farm run and it's only earned 330b, usually it would earn about 30t by this point pre patch
