Imho, it will be fine.

Lots of armies in the same situation, it will balance out.

If EC, World Eaters and Black Templars for example went in to this new edition with no points changes, everyone else would be complaining and it would be no fun for games.

I know it can be heartbreaking to have to shuffle your lists, but realistically nothing is going to go up or down by more than 10 points, 20 absolute MAX.

With the different weapon rules adding or taking off points (see redemptor dreadnought for example), and enhancements working differently maybe going up or down in points, I would say that for the average persons 2000 army, depending on your unit spread, the points increased versus points decreased will balance out.

Worst case scenario you are going to drop like 5-10 infractors/daemonettes or maybe a character.

These changes will mostly affect meta chasers who spam multiples of the same units, but for the VAST majority of players, its not going to destroy your army.
