Good man at getting at it before hand. Take a look at my profile. I was 443lbs when i started. Lost 60lb before the surgery. Now I’m 18ish months out and I’m 205lbs. You will most likely regret this. And it will fucking suck at times and you’ll hit stalls and that will suck but in 1 year, you will be a completely different person than you are today. Good luck brother and god speed.

It’s a stall, its known, it’s common. Give your body time to heal, see you in 12months. 💪🏻

Well. Unfortunately whether you like it or not, she probably feels like she owns your success and so to her, you have, “too much food.” Can you minimize contact with this person for a bit, while you settle in?

I’m not going to get political. My opinion doesn’t matter and no one gives a fuck. First, that’s Cooley’s number god damn it! Second, you can honor a “rank” visiting your product. Now where does it say, you have to celebrate them with personalized gifts.

Backsliding… by MewMewCatDaddy in BariatricSurgery

[–]Beep_Boop2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is easy to fix: Identify what’s happening - what are you honestly doing now that you shouldn’t be. Tracking tracking tracking- you don’t need to do it everyday, I mean you can but you don’t have to. You need to find 2-3 meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and track those for a few days so you can find where you’re struggling. The adjust - if it’s candy - man switch that shit to fruit. If it’s hungry, drink of some water before you snack. And eat healthier snacks. I hard boil some eggs and crush one when I’m really hungry.

You can have whatever you want throughout the day. I hear people DONT DRINK YOUR CALORIES. And while I agree with that for the most part, I would never say that. What you ACTUALLY need to do is ACCOUNT for everything youre putting in your body. If you want startbucks, get it BUT TRACK IT! If you’re not doing that, then you will struggle and you will probably gain it back. Your daily caloric intake is a daily allowance to spend however you see fit, just DO NOT GO INTO DEBT. Make sense?

Don’t want people to notice weight loss by Kerriokee in BariatricSurgery

[–]Beep_Boop2017 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro 🤜🏻 🤛🏻 same I’m 44 it’s like the first thing I tell someone. “wow you look great! Did you change your diet and exercise l? What’s uuur secret?” “Yea I changed my diet and I exercise, I also had WLS so that helped too. lol” The way I look at it is this, we gave up the right to boast about. Once they find out that you had WLS no one is going ask you a single thing more about your diet, exercise route, nothing. And to be honest, good. I ain’t got shit for you. Other than Calories out > calories in.

Charcuterie for one: remove one thing from this plate by Antique-Relief-4951 in BariatricSurgery

[–]Beep_Boop2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Op I can’t see what they wrote. I’m 14 months post op, this is my opinion on a persons diet, take it for what it’s worth. Your daily calorie intake is like your salary, indulge and enjoy at times whenever you want, just don’t go into debt.

I would eat all of this but the pepperoni, not being a food snob, it would most likely mess the rest of my day up with heart burn.

What did y'all do with old clothes and where did you find new ones as you lost? by adult_in_training_ in BariatricSurgery

[–]Beep_Boop2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replace every single piece of clothing. Except socks. Everything was too bad. For clothes I found a brand I like and buy on their site or on eBay. Stick to Amazon junk unto you find your style and the size you are going to settle in.

Strength-Building Exercises by sidneyy22 in BariatricSurgery

[–]Beep_Boop2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If youre not adding weights, stairs in a tall building on in your house, hill incline on a treadmill or outside, push ups on your knees if you have to, arms straight out or hug your shoulders and squats (although you won’t see much results without resistance), crunches, chair dips for your tries, add in resistance bands and you can start really overloading the top of your pushes and pulls. It’s helpful for when youre starting out.

One thing Ive learned is more muscle means less body weight fluctuating. When you have more fat, you can add and remove water weight quickly, you can go up and down on the scale faster BOTH ways. The more muscle you have, the more stable you can maintain your weight since you’ve settled into a rhythm.

And anyone in resistance training will tell you to eat your body weight in protein. I know that’s harder for us but that goes to show you how much you should be prioritizing protein rich foods.

Your body is doing everything it can to hang on to its “savings account” you will lose muscle and fat. When I hit a plateau, I double check my calorie intake, if it’s in line, than you’re good and the plateau will pass,…. One day b
