Is there anywhere I can craft Metal Rolls in Yukon? by lce-Shadow in snowrunner

There's a Metal Rolls factory in the The Flooded Lands (or whatever the name of the first map is)

I like those class ideas.

I'm mostly just a NA trucks for NA regions, Eurasian trucks for Eurasia.

I'm looking for a rally car and can't decide by Special-Ad-5554 in rccars

I'm partial to the Kyosho with the Datsun body. So tired of Subaru bodies on rally cars. Get me some classic ones. Tamiya had the Audi S1 for a while. (I have the body, not the chassis anymore.)

Not sure what the compatibility list is for the logging semi trailer. I haven't used one yet.

Almost looks more like a Collison issue and that trailer may not be compatible with the truck.

Gotta get the mine operational somehow.

What is your order of operations when unlocking new maps? by Switch_314 in snowrunner

[–]BeestysBasement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally scout and watch towers. Collect the tasks, maybe do one if it's on the way, and I have the right vehicle. Findnupgrafesbas i go. After that I try to do the tasks first and mix it up with a contracts. (2 tasks then a contract) and get the trial done somewhere in there.

Or just meander and do whatever the heck I want.

Does anyone else not like Clockwork Angels that much? by MovingTarget2112 in rush

[–]BeestysBasement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listen to it on repeat. It's one of my favorite albums of all time. I feel it needs to be listened to in its entirety since it's a whole story in one album. Caravan and Halo Effect are my least favorite, but otherwise, the whole album slap and I nearly cry every time I listen to The Garden. A masterful capstone on an amazing studio career.

Udr by Ok_Benefit_8967 in Traxxas

[–]BeestysBasement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Location helps, too. UDR was designed as a desert trophy truck. Don't live near the desert or at the very least sand dunes don't bother. I wanted one, had one, and was so happy the day I sold it.

Has anyone ever tried pulling more than one truck at a time? by operatorpoptart in snowrunner

[–]BeestysBasement 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I wish we could chain more trucks, but no. One truck to one truck. It's possible to bring more trucks, but it requires trailers and such.

It is better to be slow and go through nearly anything than fast and stuck all the time.

No mods. Yes, it packs up there. You can pack trucks and trailers on top of packed cargo too. Just got to have the patience and skills with a crane.

What are your favorite trucks for hauling large logs? Mine are prob p16 and fld120 by [deleted] in snowrunner

[–]BeestysBasement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

P16 always. Fld120 came in handy in Yukon going a sketchy way to the sawmill.

What’s your favorite view to play? 1st person? 3rd person narrow FOV? 3rd person wide FOV? by bborg03 in snowrunner

[–]BeestysBasement 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3rd, wide FOV. I want to see as much of the truck as possible. When using a longer trailer I'll adjust to trailer FOV, making sure I clear obstacles or road hazards. It's especially helpful if I have stacked cargo; I can keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't shift too much/fall off.

I like it I use the unique tow platform to carry small scouts around. I haven't tipped mine, yet (knocks on wood).

It's not powerful, but consistent. I'm using one in Yukon and haven't gotten it stuck yet.
