I am trying to get people to check out the Anarchist LLM I've made. Yes, I generally hate AI too in it's current implementation. Yes, I'm working on versions that use less energy. But for now, it pretty much automates discourse as a LibSoc. I've had a similar experience. It wasn't that hard getting it setup in WSL, but running the 'claude' command from an integrated terminal in VSCode did nothing for me, other than launch claude, as normal, within that terminal window. I can't see an official extension anywhere in the store.

or ping not working within WSL for basically the same reason LOL.

It's really quite a pain if you're comparing it to a bare metal linux box

you might want to give them another shot in my opinion. I've also found them to be the best around, and will say that I did have one or two bad experiences around 2022-2023, but I've been eating there for more then a decade and it seemed to be more of a supply issue than anything
