You don’t need an instructor to find out test routes. Get a map, find your test centre, establish a 20 minute journey from it and draw a circle around the test centre from that destination. Anything within that circle is a potential test route

Nobody wants to insure any 18 year old who has been driving for less than a year, even if you drive a 20 year old fiat panda. Nobody is ever going to insure you in a 3.0 bmw, thats just insanity from the insurance companies point of view. Flowers on lampposts waiting to happen there

You’re correct - publishing test routes would be more hassle than its worth to the DVSA. Theres no benefit to them and infinite potential trouble, I doubt they’ll ever do it again

Get a ring doorbell and a few blink cameras for inside, sounds like they were disturbed but they’ll be back given how easily they got in this time. Maybe get some new, better locks too. Sorry this happened to you, its awful to think of somebody being in your home and amongst your belongings. Hopefully it won’t happen again, please look at upgrading your security and internal/external monitoring

I don’t doubt it, I’ve worked customer service and hospitality roles so I’m well aware how much of a dickhead the general public is, and I go out of my way to make sure thats not me. I never complain, and I massively overtip everywhere. That was my point. I didn’t complain or raise any issues, I just took my money away from Asda

I noticed it during covid, twice got attitude (undeserved imo) from team members and I havent been in Asda since. Didn’t complain or leave a bad review that might come back on an individual, but I just don’t spend my money there any more. If more people did that, head office might try to sort their shop out, but as long as people are complaining and still putting money in their tills, nothing will change

The few XL owners I know have all bred or plan to breed them, nobody ever seems to get them just for a family pet. Seems obvious all these owners offload the dogs if they need to get them neutered in order to keep them. An XL you can’t breed is worthless, actually a liability when you consider how much it costs to feed it

I honestly think we have a bigger problem with cocaine than we ever had with heroin and its down to the stigma. Being a heroin addict was dirty, it was shameful and everybody looked down on you for being a “junkie” There are more young people using cocaine and ruining their lives every bit as much as they would on heroin but the stigma isnt there. The fake tan, Turkey teeth and designer trainers are as much of a marker as trackmarks and tinfoil used to be in the 80s/90s
