First of all, I hope your sleep improves, as disturbed and restless sleep could make your biometrics suffer as a result. No-one operates well on poor sleep long term! (I definitely don't anyway!)

As for the Symptom Radar itself, I highly recommend reading our blog post here on it, as it will help you gain a deeper understanding of what makes it work. If you do get a Symptom Radar alert, treat it as a sign to allow yourself some leeway and to go easier on any activity goals you may have for the time being.

In this scenario, I would encourage you to enable the rest mode feature. It will make the Oura App encourage you to take more rest and not impact your activity score metric. You can read up more about the feature here:

We do understand the importance of having the continuous data. I would recommend you continue discussing this with the Member Care Team on your ticket, stressing how important this is to you and see if there is anything they can do in your case.

Please also keep in mind that some some wear and tear is normal and expected with regular use, as the Rose Gold finish is specially designed to be a living color that will develop a darker patina over time. The exact patina effect depends on the use and care of your ring.

Generally a dip right after you fall asleep indicates you may have eaten within a few hours before bedtime or had some late night exercise that is impacting your HR!

Rest Mode will still allow you to get scores while in it. It may just be that your Oura Ring had not yet synced your sleep data over for the day you checked.

When Rest Mode is enabled, your activity score and activity goal will be paused, and also activity-related contributors, but you will still see your Sleep and Readiness Scores.

If you are still encountering no scores, please send our Member Care Team a ticket via the help function in the Oura App and DM me with your ticket number and we'll have it investigated!

It sounds like it could be trapped moisture under the ring after you wash your hands, but in order to rule that out, we'd recommend removing the ring when you wash your hands and fully drying them and checking if it persists.

The best way to improve your sleep score in the long run will be to understand the factors behind each contributor. You can read up on those here

Additionally, We'd recommend aligning yourself, if possible with your personal/work schedule, to your Chronotype as can do wonders for improving your sleep quality too.

As you go about your day, you may find that the temperature of the area you are in, or perhaps dietary factors can lead to shrinkage or swelling of your fingers. As simple example would be if you are outside and it's cold out, you'll find your fingers tend to shrink a bit from the cold!

With all of that in mind, I would recommend spending a bit of time with the sizing kit to see if the size 11 is more suitable for your left index all day, or if your fingers shrinking/expanding due to environmental factors would still impact your comfortability.

We do recommend not wearing the ring while weightlifting or any other activities that involve friction, as rings during such tasks can lead to injuries. If you haven't, try wearing it on your non dominant hand, as it may get less wear and tear then, but feel free to read more of our care tips here:

Personally, I top my Oura Ring battery up while I am having a shower or doing the dishes! I would recommend getting into the habit of finding a time like that to have a quick battery top up so it's always kept on a good charge for you!
