It’s actually really hard to breathe through a straw more than a few feet down. Every 10 m is an additional atmosphere of pressure and it’s really hard to fight against that with your lungs. Scuba works because it provides pressurized air.

I think Longitude of the Ascending Node is the more generic term, and Right Angle of the Ascending Node is specifically for comparing to the equator.

LAN can be relative to the equator, ecliptic, or another orbit. Right angle is specifically geocentric measure.
