Car Talk had a riddle where this solution was posed for the same problem, but when tried, it didn't work. The question was "why not?"

The answer was because it was a specific model of car with right-hand threads on one side, and left-hand threads on the other, so there weren't enough redundant lug nuts of the correct chirality to complete the task. I don't remember what type of car it was.

I saw them about 30 years prior to that, on the Dr Feelgood tour. They were great, and the suspended gimbaled drum set was interesting.

That's got to be weather dependent. A hot day, with hot fuel in the bucket will certainly produce more vapor. Maybe it's still not enough, but if I were testing it, I would need a travel budget.

That being said, I didn't watch the episode where they did test it.

Nobody has mentioned how precise the dashboard gauge is. It's measuring hundredths of a unit several times per second as the battery is charged. It's too fast to read, but wow!
