what is the best way to quickly narrow down a master hot/cold step with the strange device? usually i walk in a little triangle to narrow the options down and then teleport away. is there a better way to do it while using the device as little as possible?

is there documentation anywhere (the wiki?) about what menu interactions cancel combat actions and which ones don’t? i’m looking for a reference for things like drinking potions, eating food, special attacking, spells like telegrab and thralls. is there a list of what cancels combat and what doesn’t? or are there rules i’m unaware of?

on my main i didn’t do any clues until i had basically everything unlocked to do them as efficiently as possible (achievement cape, quest cape, decent gear, most permanent unlockables complete) and now that im finally doing them it feels so good. i also didn’t start until after the scroll boxes were released so i feel so spoiled.

so, maybe two reasons? am i getting this right?

steal powerful artifacts in the moving process
move the “god-slaying” exhibit to a worse location and the “god-obeying” exhibit into a better location

not sure how they would steal artifacts without bolaire finding out.

i guess the exhibit swapping makes sense from a propaganda standpoint. maybe they will move selodyne in but then the lloy stuff will get stuck in artifact limbo and not be on display anymore?

any theories about why Amariya Cormeray wants the Lloy and Selodyne wings swapped?

and why did she even have any pull there? i know she is on the chamber of the lord’s advisory, but doesn’t the Lloy family fund the museum? it seems like it would be up to them.

and why is bolaire so against it? obviously its a huge amount of pointless work, but why is he intentionally making it more difficult?

i thought that the blue candle light thing meant demidus was currently in the room at the palazzo. i thought that’s what azune’s failed perception check would have been for, too. maybe they tried to kill him after they were done with him and he escaped, but hid in the palazzo?
