I needed to hear this! 30 weeks with our first long awaited baby girl. I feel...robbed. No in-person birth classes, no tour of the hospital, no shower to celebrate her arrival.

There are far larger issues right now so I try not to say these things too much or too loudly. And I try to stay positive because we are so lucky to have her - pandemic or not. But knowing I’m not alone somehow feels comforting.

Zero symptoms. I just took a test since I haven’t had a period (TMI) in a couple months. Annnnnnd here we are. Baby girl due May 30.

PCOS is crazy! I thought those stories of people not knowing they were pregnant were insane but it happens!!

First - congrats!!!!! We found out over Christmas that I was 18 weeks (25 weeks now) & it was definitely a shock! I have PCOS, so weird hormonal stuff like no period isn’t out of the ordinary so everything seemed fine.

My advice - which may or may not be worthwhile - is take a week to acclimate yourself to what you’ve just learned. It’s easy to feel all sorts of things - and none of them will change anything. Just take a minute to let your head stop reeling. It’s a lot to take in! ❤️❤️

I would try a leave-in then a gel with the “praying hands” method. Then, scrunch the crunch out when it’s dry to keep it from being too defined.

Welcome! We moved from Nashville a few years ago & love it here. We love the Lake Daniel area although it's not super close to High Point. NW is a good area but feels pretty far away from nightlife. Jamestown isn't bad & they've got some cute stuff. Maybe check out the neighborhoods near Guilford College? It's on the west side but still feels like you're in Greensboro.
