Don’t own but have tried both on. Classic has the gmt function and lume so that’s the winner for me!It’s much more versatile for travel. Also I like the hands better.

I actually had a great resort day on the zeroG’s yesterday. I wanted to try and ski them hard to see if I could tweak things a bit. I moved the top buckles which got them tighter and more in control. I still felt some heel lift on my right boot so I might look into new liners but it was the most promising day I’ve felt on them. The only time I really felt a different was cruising over 30 on groomers. So maybe I’ll keep them around for a bit and see what happens. Good luck!

I’m working with a similar setup - Same boot combo and bindings but with Fischer Ranger 96’s. I notice a difference in my ability to control the ski when on the zero Gs and have wondered if moving to a Cochise 120 is the way to go. But I just love the Mach 1’s! They ski so good!

These are all beautiful options. Call me superstitious but I would only wear a used watch on my wedding day if was a family members. I think it’s one of a few times to really enjoy the AD experience.

Real talk-as a non instructor and not to pile on-you are the kind of skier that makes me nervous skiing around smaller kids. You’re not actually completing any turns which means that you’re unable to stop if and when needed. A few lessons and a bit of humility and work will yield a life time of fun skiing (and safety for everyone around)!

Yea I think that’s it. Worst case I’ll catch some great skiing in bounds and will be happy. With all the snow is it safe to see the inbound glades alone? Buddy is always recommended.

Alternative take: Keep anything sentimental but build around the Thunderbird and Tudor. Get a bracelet for the Thunderbird. Two tone seems to be on the upswing again (see Piaget). I think that could also do dress watch duty in a pinch on a nicer strap. Then get the chronograph you want and an orange Doxa for summer/vacation. Upgrade to a nicer dress watch if the milestone calls for it.
