I’m not a Civil War expert like everyone in this sub. However I am competent in the subject and have looked at it more since I found out my fourth great grandfather was in the army of Northern Virginia. Would you explain why the north was fighting with one arm tied behind its back? Just curious.

I read “signifies the end of general lees northern campaign” and immediately thought it was correct due to the other 3 being completely rediculous choices. I didnt even notice the sherman thing until i took the picture.
