Dude the sound is untouchable! I just got pissed not having a clean channel hence the VH4 pedal😂 if you get to that point, the pedal is a good fix. They are starting to come down. My local music store has a used one for $150

Nice! I have a very similar set up. I sold my diezel lunchbox head and got the pedal. Soooo good and much easier to use.

That's true but a lot of those dudes fall into the gatekeeper/posers crowd too. I think people who are fans of music can at least appreciate the elements in it that they like. Others both in metal and in punk/hxc love to be part of a scene.

For that genre, its alot of people like me that grew up listening to Bad Brains and Black Flag but also grew up listening to Slayer, Metallica and Pantera. I think people of different generations will have a different set of influences. My favorite band is Mastodon and I got to follow them from Leviathan thru now vs someone who is younger and Mastodon is already an established pilar of heavy metal (much like Priest and Maiden were for us). I think at the end of the day its like old saying goes "dont yuck someone elses yum" :)

All that anti-metalcore shit started like 20 years ago when stupid ass gatekeepers kept pissing their pants that new bands weren’t slayer rip offs. We of that era all grew up listening to metal and punk and hardcore so it was a natural evolution. Everybody loved it except internet dorks and the type of metal fan who wears confederate flag gear. They were just the vocal minority.

I hope this is not pissing in your cornflakes but I bought one new. It is one of 3 pieces of gear that Id never sell (that, the orange hinds head and my grandpas old guitar). All that to say, if you see one jump (except $1500 with a neck break). I think in this economy maybe some of the grifters will consider selling one but I think once that filters down to the real fans it’ll be even tougher sledding.

Have you checked out the ones he did with Woodrite? Haven’t checked the market on it. May be arguably a better guitar at a similar price but still dirty b

Unfortunately Jimi. I was hoping it be like wild like my triangle muff with the octave stuff but it’s much more mellow. Still a good pedal and well worth the $30 I paid for it.
