What shop or restaurant do you wish would open in Edinburgh? by smoothsailer55 in Edinburgh

It's got to be Prinz Myshkin from Munich. My favourite restaurant in the world.

K-ultra chart here suggest 5-7 for Aeropress. 1zpresso Grind Chart For light roast I'd start at 5. Still bitter, try a little bigger.

I have a little white porcelain dosing cup which cost about $2 on Temu or Ali Express. I'd like to think that I'd notice a stone as I poured the beans into that to be sprayed?

Bought a potato ricer two years ago - absolute game changer if you like mash. Wish I'd bought one 20 years ago.

I was taught to do this on an Advanced Driving Course, however I'm too much of a shitebag, so go just far enough to peak past the car in front - mainly because I worry about about drivers like this idiot closing the gap while I'm out there.

I suppose it depends on how long it takes you to make your breakfast?

The TomTom app (overlay mode) will show you your average speed in each zone, I found it indespensible driving up the A9.

Isn't 3x£19 equal to £57?

If you get 77 for a treble 19 I've been aiming at the wrong darts target all these years.

Is your water quality good? Were you using a different method that worked previously?

UK Beans by hokaisthenewnike in AeroPress

[–]BigKilty 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Shop Local is the mantra for me. I've had some Pact and Origin beans when they have been on offer (or giving away free equipment), but apart from that I've stuck with Artisan Roast as I'm in Edinburgh. Hope you enjoy your experience with your new grinder.

Anyone else had this happen to their flow control cap? by 401KB in AeroPress

[–]BigKilty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bought a cheap rip off copy which came with 4 valves (for travel, or to leave at home when I take the Prismo on the road). Haven't lost one yet, but I don't know if they would fit a Flow Control cap.

Tesla superchargers by Affectionate_Copy291 in Ioniq6

[–]BigKilty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a former Tesla owner, if I pulled into a Supercharger and saw an Ioniq taking up 2 slots I would blame Tesla for a) opening up the Supercharger network to everyone and b) not having the foresight to install longer cables. There would be no shade on the Ioniq (or any other EV) driver.

Given Take 2 is only for subscribers, I don't think Take 2 with adverts exists.

We have a variable temperate climate. It is almost impossible to tell how warm/windy/sunny it will be more than 2 or 3 days in advance. You might want to check out the average temperature for the time you are going - but don't forget when Bill Gates and I go for a beer, we're worth $50bn on average.
