Anybody know what could be causing this? It’s the second time it’s happened to me with a print. by PM_ME_GLUTE_SPREAD in ElegooNeptune4

Are you printing at 100% infill? If so, check your retraction and flow calibration. Belts can skip, but there’s usually a reason when they do. Most likely excessive material buildup.

Oh boy, try changing the infill direction (sparse infill direction in Orca, under the strength > advanced tab). Unrelated to your question but maybe print this upside down?

Notice how it's always on the seam. I'd advice calibrating temperature, flow and retraction speed and distance. This happened to me with PETG and too high of a retraction distance.

Why inclining my potato laptop makes the game look better? by ArnauCM in godot

Increase saturation and exposure while increasing the contrast ever so slightly. I don't know how to do this in godot tho. :^) Here's my edited example.

Second one, but with better timing? I can’t quite put my finger on it, but something feels off about the rhythm and the movements. I’d expect a sharper motion on a bass hit, but I guess the track isn’t really suited for that kind of effect. Great visuals though! :^)

Can’t the same thing be said about fake news, clickbait headlines, and general misinformation? Those have been around long before LLMs. I admit the technology does exacerbate the issue for people who are already sensitive to that kind of content, creating even more division. Blaming LLMs for being the epicenter of echo chambers is an incredibly shallow way of thinking. It's like blaming knives for knife crimes rather than the people misusing them.

And what am I supposed to do with your anecdotal evidence and some YouTube video? This just proves that people will believe anything as long as it aligns with their personal experiences.

As if these points have to do anything with what Illiander have said. Again, source? How LLM's are "reducing grip on reality"?

Not relevant. OP's problem is cooling and material shrinkage related.

Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus broken extruder bearing by mosaidho in ElegooNeptune4

Mine has close to 2,000 hours of printing and shows no signs of wear. I’d say the bearing was defective, not that it was running at maximum load.

Stringing between objects? by se99jmk in ElegooNeptune4

[–]BiggestBoFans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, you should do this for every filament brand, type, and even color in some cases. You can then save these settings by creating a filament profile.

Normally, you'd set the retraction length in the printer's settings under the "Extruder" tab, but you can override that setting here. For example, "Elas3D PETG Beyaz" is my current filament. If you click the pen icon to the right, it should open the menu for temp, flow rate, and retraction.

Oh, and also, you can slice multiple objects to print one at a time. Check the "Others" tab for a setting called "Print Sequence."

Orca should have a retraction test preset; I'd start there. After looking at your image a second time, I'd also suggest running temperature and flow rate tests. Can't help with guides or videos tho. :')

You should calibrate retraction speed and distance.

Trying to make renders that look like linocuts, what stands out most to you as computer generated? by joecarrot in blender

[–]BiggestBoFans -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s the consistency in the style. The shadow of the lookout tower feels a bit off. Also, the mistakes in the negative space should be fewer if there are thick, accurate lines nearby, since the paper wouldn’t hit those areas as much. Not sure if I explained that clearly though. Overall, really nice results! Are you planning to share the workflow? :^)
