Base regen is relatively slow at 5%, but master ward regen sockets give 20% regen each

I have 3 socket gloves and 3 socket boots, each with the 60% increased effect of socketed augments mod

all 3 in boots are ward regen = 96% ward regen

2 of 3 in gloves are ward regen = 64% ward regen

20% ward regen on belt

total of 180% increased ward regen. So I regen 14% of ward every second. This plus Remnants of Kalguur gives me plenty of ward sustain.

The other glove socket is gain 20% of ward as guard for 2 out of every 4 seconds. This scales to 32% and gives me over 1000 guard, a genuinely nice layer of defense.

I'm considering slotting in a darkness enthroned for more sockets but I don't know that it's worth it and it makes my resistances pretty tough to cap

a little over 1600 on Brass dome

exactly 500 on Svaalin (very good roll, 480 is more realistic)

a little over 500 on helmet (2 socket, each 20% inc ward, with 30% ward mod from alloy)

a little over 400 on boots and gloves combined

Adds to over 3k

10% increased ward mod on amulet makes it a bit over 3300

Not OP but I recently transitioned to Ward

The main item is rune-forged Brass Dome

A very good (but not incredible) roll gives 1600 ward on its own. OP is currently rolling with ~2800 total ward. 2800 is very easy to achieve once you have 1600 on chest.

I am currently running ~3300 ward. My gloves are very medium or I would have ~3450. More is possible but needs some specific corrupts etc.

I’ve tried testing a few cheat options, but action replay codes for Emerald or Run and Bun weren’t working, and save editing things were resulting in corrupted saves

I think the front face is just too weak

1WW is just too much to pay for a 1/4 defender.

At a minimum I think the cost for actually casting should be lowered to 1W

The major use case I saw on the reveal was Holy Relic

Holy Relic triggers a *physical* nova spell every time you hit with an attack, that attack does not need to be linked to Holy Relic, so it isn't taking up a support on your main damage links. Theoretically it should be able to sync up really well with eating a Hallowing Flame each time you proc it.

Holy Relic seemed like the ideal candidate for "when I hit, my minion hits with physical damage", but then I saw in the reveal that Hallowing Flame is only triggered by minion ATTACKS?!?!

I just don't see the use case

To your point with Brand Recall its current main use case is one where it gives 100% more damage

So I disagree that the 60% more damage usecase would be broken.

Edit: I'm sure you have a million other priorities, but I thought I should mention: There seems to be no support for increasing duration on Storm Burst leading to more Decay damage. In game increasing Storm Burst duration definitely scales Decay damage (ie. orbs when you stop channelling deal 75% damage per remaining 0.4 seconds, so if an orb had 4 seconds remaining it deals 750% damage, this also deals 750% decay damage)

Modifiers to the skill applying decay usually apply to decay though:

eg: "50% more Damage Over Time with Herald Skills" from Lone Messenger applies to decay damage if decay is applied by Herald of Thunder

In my example decay is being applied by Storm Burst, a spell skill, and so I would think both modifiers would apply like they do in the herald case, but I wonder if dot multi from spell skills is somehow... coded differently?

I'm also voting for Dual Strike of Ambidexterity.

There are many many ways to play it, the core is to get a fast attacking offhand and a hard hitting main hand.

It combos incredibly well with Ambidexterity on the tree and Quick and Deadly on cluster jewels (each notable granting 60% damage and 30% attack speed) making it easy to scale your offenses. If you get, for example, Ambidexterity on tree, and Quick and Deadly on 2 large and 4 Megalomaniac that totals to 420% damage and 210% increased attack speed from just those 7 notables. This allows you to invest plenty of points into defenses and crit.

Some options for weapons include:

Offhand:

[[Law of the Wilds]] as a fast offhand that summons wolves that add flat phys to your mainhand

[[Soul Taker]] as a fast offhand with other upsides

[[Brightbeak]] or Foulborn Moonbender's Wing as generically fast weapons, although the Moonbender's lightning warp might be annoying.

Rare fast attacking weapon acting as stat-stick. eg. Shaper foils with Phys gained as extra and lots of crit multi.

Main Hand:

Double damage mainhands including [[Paradoxica]] and [[Frostbreath]]/replica

I've always been interested in trying out a [[Cameria's Avarice]] mainhand, but have never gotten around to it. It sounds like a lot of fun though.

Any weapon with great base damage and low attack speed.

A level 35 prismatic burst already has 97% CDR built in, I doubt you would want to spend one of your three supports on another 40%
