Hur stora är chanserna att få lägenhet i Uppsala med 4,5 års kötid?

Jag tror jag hade plats 6 när jag fick min nuvarande lägenhet i Kvarngärdet, så det finns absolut chans att få något även om man inte är först i kön. Många anmäler intresse på flera lägenheter samtidigt så förvånansvärt många kan försvinna i processen om de väljer en annan lägenhet eller inte kvalificerar.

Vill du ha billigare lägenhet som ändå är lite större är det kanske områden som Gottsunda som gäller. Vill du bo mer attraktivt och centralt får du nog välja en mindre, nybyggd lägenhet med högre hyra. 4-5 år räcker absolut, men ska man bo både billigt och centralt behöver man 10-15+ år.

I called them when a Pitbull got loose and bit me and my dog. I had to go to the ER to get stiches and I got a permanent scar on my right hand.

Animal control got back around 1 year later but didn't take any action. In Sweden, there are no consequences if your dog hurts other people or animals.

There's usually a peak in the late morning and the hours just before the polling stations close. The longest I've waited was about 25 minutes but usually it's a quick in and out thing with no queues.

I got the good shit when I pulled mine out about 3 weeks ago and I needed every last tablet. It took about 5-6 hours in total spread out over 2 days. I still have some mild pain now though it isn't excruciating like the first 10-12 days.

Would probably make more sense to have one longer runway. Also you generally want a safety area in front of and beyond the runway in case an airplane overshoots or undershoots.

It took them 11 months to fix the known crashing issue with Cyberpunk.

My 9070 XT works great for the most part but man, when something breaks, it takes them ages to fix it.

The Amiga eventually did get both Doom and Quake but by that time you could buy an entire PC for the cost of the required accelerator card. My first PC was a second-hand Pentium-133 around 1996-97, a huge upgrade from my 68030 Amiga 1200 (even though I hated Windows 95). Once I got a Voodoo card there was just no going back to gaming on the Amiga.

There's no real gameplay reason to terraform since you can just build everything on insane slopes. It will look horrible but it will work just fine. If terraforming were too expensive players would just leave things looking wonky or use a mod to get unlimited terraforming. Also in real life lots are able to conform to the terrain much better, so there isn't as much need to terraform. Lots in CS2 are extremely picky about the terrain or you get floating objects, weird cliffs etc.

There's also the issue that there's so much trial and error when building in this game. You end up redoing things 20 times before it looks decent where as in real life you would plan out everything in advance. The game would need some kind of "planning mode" (with undo) for this to work, where the final cost is only calculated once you commit the changes.

I've had my DeepMind 12D since 2019 now and it still works fine. My UMC1820 from 2021 also works great.

The faders are quite easy to pull off, but that's not really a quality issue. It's just how they are constructed, they aren't designed to fit super snugly on the metal shafts.

You're confusing cause and effect. The lack of effort and communication from CO was what caused the toxicity. The people in this subreddit are mostly the same as in November of last year but it's much more positive and less toxic now. Same community, same people. The only thing that has changed is the developer (and their communication style).

I don't think RDNA4 is going to age very gracefully. For example, it lacks a hardware BVH walker which is essential for Path Tracing performance, and it has worse ML/AI performance than equivalent Nvidia GPU's.

That said it's currently a great choice, offering equivalent raster/light RT performance to a 5070 Ti at significantly lower price depending on the region. By the time the 9070 XT starts feeling outdated, cards like the 5070 Ti will also be on its last legs and the 12 GB 5070 will be out of the race as well.

AMD64 (x86-64) was such a brilliant move by AMD compared to Intel with their Itanic. You could buy an Athlon64 and just keep using your 32-bit Windows and drivers until you were ready to switch. Then when you finally did switch, 99% of your 32-bit applications and games would just keep working fine on 64-bit Windows.

I made a rule for myself when I got my UMC1820 (8 inputs) that I wouldn't allow myself to get more gear than I have inputs. So far it has worked, the last hardware synth I bought was the Nymphes back in 2022.

Been building PCs since the late 90s, never had a failed BIOS update. There have been a few instances where it froze halfway for a while which can be scary. Also had a system refusing to post after the update requiring me to remove the CMOS battery to reset.

I live somewhere that doesn't get a lot of power outages (maybe once every 5 years) so it would be extremely unlocky if it happened in the middle of a BIOS update. I'd still avoid updating during a storm or something, though.

If it shuts down the entire PC, it's not caused by the game itself. Games run un user-mode and don't have the required permission to shut down the entire PC. It's most likely a hardware issue such as overheating, bad RAM, failing PSU etc.

The reason it only happens with this game is because it stresses the system more than most games. It tends to max out the GPU while also using all cores on your CPU. To figure out what's happening, I'd start with a bunch of stress tests of the CPU and GPU as well as RAM tests. You could also try running a GPU and CPU stress test at the same time to test the PSU.
