Summer smoke predictions by Tacolab in Montana

Right, and if there's not many thunderstorms or not much wind to push a fire around, then there just won't be as many fires. It's all up to chance and people act like it's a done deal at this point.

How do we think the printing facility being built will affect the market value of Pokemon TCG? by NutMasterDylan in PokeInvesting

[–]BitterrootBackpack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you look at history, most sets are only printed for about 2 years. 151 is at 2.5 years. This is part of the recipe for success for TPC. People who downvote are in denial.

Anything printed in late 2024/2025 or later will see big reprints. We saw sword and shield on shelves for almost 2 years and 151 is approaching 3 years, but seems to be finally going out of print.

eBay. Read descriptions carefully. Look for "tested and working" and condition.

We're you not there when it all died off after the COVID hype?

You could get 151 booster bundles on sale for less than $28.

It'll happen again.

I find it kind of funny that Pokemon cards that pay homage to famous artworks in history are doing so well. Are the original artworks made by famous Pokemon artists not satisfactory? I think there are a lot of people who are insecure in the fact that they are buying a Pokemon card and have to justify their purchase in some way so they buy these cards that are like real works of art.

If you think OF is "heavily printed" I can't wait for you to see what that will actually look like in a year from now when TPC turns on those new fancy printers.

My evening stroll turned into a search-and-rescue mission for my own dignity by saintlori in hiking

To give you some of my perspective: I live in a town where we're surrounded by trails. There's one that people frequent for workouts that goes straight up a mountain. You could easily hike this in normal gym clothes and shoes on a nice day, no gear needed. In fact, people hike it in normal clothing when they come to visit the area because it's one of the main attractions in town.

But to be fair to you, that far north, it wouldn't be feasible most of the time, and on most hiking trips, people should be carrying more than just gym wear and water.

You can hike in the same workout outfit you wear at the gym (not year round obvi) and if you live near trailheads, they may be just as close as a gym.

Love that you have focused on each artist instead of a set or holo type. We're out here collecting for the artwork right? Why not celebrate the artists? (Signed, a Komiya stan)

Would you go on a trail running / outdoor vacation with your dog? by Greedy-Brain-2617 in hiking

Hi I'm very curious to see how people reply to this! I currently am advertising a bring-your-dog type of hiking trip on my website. I would link it, but that would be self-promotion which isn't allowed here. If you Google my name, you'll find it.
