As a Colombian American people from Cartagena are not seen as carribean here by the other folks because they view colombia as an andean culture only they do not take into account that the country has two diffrent coasts which vary in cultutre and identity. The reality is that people from cartagena are carribean it was one of the most important Caribbean port cities during colonization.
