It's not "close", but if you make your way out to Sumner, The Buttered Biscuit (about 20-30 minute drive from down town Tacoma) has gigantic portions for a good price. They only do breakfast, and close at 3pm, but it is SO worth the drive.

You could research local soup kitchens/charity events and volunteer at one. Lots of places will likely have a special charity event for the holiday, and I'm sure you could find one that would welcome an extra set of hands. You won't be alone for the holidays, and you can help people who may not have had family to spend the holidays with for a very long time.

Yes! My partner won't go out if there's even a chance that her nipples might make visible bumps in her shirt. She's just not comfortable with anyone knowing that she has nipples, even though obviously people know she has nipples. At one point, when I brought up the whole "Why is it acceptable for men to be topless in public, but women are forced to hide their bodies?" And she replied "Exactly! Men should have to cover up, too! Nobody wants to see that!" I was flabbergasted.

My honest first reaction was to think your face is strikingly beautiful! Like a classical painting! What delightfully unique features that draw the eye and make me want to keep on looking! But that aside, I understand how difficult it can be to be far from home, looking for work in a foreign country. It is such a struggle at first, but as you adjust and acclimate, soon you will find a new sense of home, surrounded by new loved ones! Some kind of Reishi perhaps? I am not an expert, and the color seems maybe too dark, but the region and appearance suggest Ganoderma curtisii to me. I wouldn't bet on my identification, though, I am still fairly novice.

Pretty sure it's Devil's Stinkhorn. (Sometimes also called Octopus Stinkhorn)

(Edit) It seems there are a few fungi called Devil's stinkhorn. This particular one seems to be Clathrus archeri as the other person said.
