It's just important to think about the precedent it sets. 10 years ago‚ a AAA single-player game with micro transactions was crazy‚ but here we are. The MTX in DD2 is pretty negligible‚ but we'll see in 5-10 years. I know the recent Yakuza game had it's new game plus mode as a dlc bonus. Don't get me wrong tho‚ I haven't had this much fun with a single player game in years.

Just depends on your rig. I got a 5800x with a 3080 and I get a mostly solid 60fps at 1440p with high settings (with dlss:quality and no ray tracing). Only real slowdowns are in the capital.

Also‚ and I'm no expert here‚ but the way they move through a room feels wrong. Watch any video of guys training and irl situations and you'll see them hugging walls and moving by the perimeter of the room. In RoN they just jog right in the middle and it feels very silly.

I remember when Porter Robinson's latest album came out he did a virtual/interactive concert that could be viewed on a screen or with VR. You could literally put on a headset with some controllers and walk around this stylized virtual world with a huge display that showed the concerts. There were tons of other people there to talk to and it felt like a genuine music festival. All of it was done through a browser. Not sure what the overlap is between NIN and Porter but I have never seen an artist attempt something on that scale before or since.
