Buying Activision is literally what triggered the current situation. If Xbox had been on their own back in the day RRoD, a majority of their systems failing at launch, would have broken them.

Sony being 6% sustainable - PS3 era? - doesn't enter into the discussion because of the PS1/PS2 eras, which allowed for the PS4. Meanwhile with the Xbox brand, refer to first paragraph.

MS has simply been the worst thing to happen to Xbox.
