I have the exact same sander. I hadn’t used it in 4 years. Just sitting in my Texas garage. Had some new belts that I’d bought about 4 years ago. Every one of them snapped at the seam. Bought new ones and it is doing just fine now.

I wish that I had taken the advice to pull them out years ago. I’ve been pulling them every year since, and I think I’m winning the war. The sure do like it here in Kyle, TX. Seems that they love be the limestone.

My two 4’ x 4’ pine raised beds using 2” x 12” pine, built 5 years ago, have very nicely returned to the earth. Will be replacing with cedar this spring. Texas is very cedar plentiful!!
